    For approximately two months I had ********** shine my black boats. The store manager took care of getting my payment with the exception of one payment. ************** son took the one payment. The store manager charges me twenty dollars for both pairs of boats. On several occasions, the store manager would ask me how much did I charge you last time. I thought that was strange how the manager keep asking me for the price and not telling me. When ************** son assisted me he only charged me ten dollars for both pairs of boats. **********"s son informed me that the price is listed on the cash register. ************' son apologize and stated he would speak to the manager. The manager stated that **************** son doesn't know what he is doing. I asked the manager if the owner's son worked hear, and the stated yes he does. I then asked the manager if the price of the boats was set in the cash register, but the manager refuse to reply. I felt as if I was being ripped off by the listed company.

    There was a big miscommunication between the customer and employee.

     

    For approximately 2 months the customer had been getting his work boots shined at Lake Norman Shoe Repair and Dry Cleaning for $20. When **************** come to pick up his shoes one day, ************ son was working at the front desk. Since his son only works 30 minutes before closing, when there are very few customers, he did not know work boots had an up charge of $10 to the base price.

     

    Shining dress shoes is listed at $10 in the computer program as a base price. When it comes to heavy duty work boots, we up charge the service by $10 due to the use of more labor and material. ************ son was unaware of this and only saw the base price listed in the computer program. That is why he told ************** the work boots shining was only $10.

     

    When ************** come to the store to discuss this with the Store manager, She told him exactly what happened with ************ son not being aware of the up-charge. We sincerely apologized for the inconvenience.
