    Closed on land in May of 2021. Went under contract with *********** Group which has since went under another name (De Novo Homes) to have a custom home built. Builder has not fulfilled his contractual obligation to complete my home by the contracted date, nor has he compensated me per our contractual agreement. So I am stuck paying a full mortgage on an incomplete home while having to maintain a rental residence for my disabled daughter and I. This has been the absolute worst experience of my life. Please stay away from this builder (*********************) at all cost. My home has been sitting in an incomplete state for over 2 years.

    This complaint contains some inaccurate information that warrants clarification. The ********************** (TLREG) and DeNovo Homes, LLC (DNH) are two separate companies that entered into a joint venture agreement in 2021 to build homes. TLREG is owned and operated by ********************* and DNH is owned by myself and ******************. TLREG and DNH are not the same company; TLREG did not change its name to DNH; and the two entities do not, nor have they ever, shared any common ownership. This can all be verified via ************** Secretary of State documentation. 
    The joint venture relationship began to unravel mid 2022 due to disputes I had with ************** regarding lack of funding to build (he had control of bank funding of which I assume the homeowner was aware of) which resulted in subcontractors I hired not being paid and also other contractual disputes. When I attempted to gain more control of the financial side of the projects to work directly with the homeowners, ************** removed DNH from the project and replaced DNH with another one of his companies, Distinctive Homes and ****************** LLC. As far as I am aware, this is the company that is building ******************** home. My suggestion is that he reach out to ********************* to seek resolution.
