      I rented a storage unit from Wildcat Storage in 2020. In 5 years I never missed a payment and never had an issue. The site guarantees 24/7 access and I often took advantage of it at odd hours. In mid-February, access to my unit was blocked by downed trees. There was no email explaining the situation so I showed up with a load of stuff and nowhere to put it. When I complained about the trees and the general lack of attention to the grounds, phone calls were not returned. I only got emails. I went through my credit card company to try to recoup my rent since I had no access. Then I was told that I had to vacate my unit in one week. When I finally got someone on the phone, they indicated that I did not have to leave if I agreed to pay $20 more a month. I did. Then yesterday, I got another email telling me to vacate. Wildcat refuses to give any explanation. My emails to them (of which I have a written record) were pointed and voiced my concerns. I used no foul language and did not attack anyone personally. Although I am told I have a strong legal case, this is really not worth litigation and I would like to seek a solution that allows me to stay on at least for another two months until I can find another unit. As I have indicated to Wildcat, I am happy to pay the going rate for that time period.
