Contractor not following OSHA rules for safety. Dropped two massive trees on my property causing significant property damage and luckily no injuries. Does not use safety equipment, contractor not on site, lumberjacks and tree company uninsured or at least refuses to give insurance information. A 4 year old child lives at my address and plays outside and could have been killed because of no supervision. Contractor shows up at property and continues cutting but uses a bucket for safety but when contractor not on site no safety at all. I asked the contractor to hire a safety crew .. he refused. This is a dangerous and incompetent contractor.

    Hello,

***************** is correct and that our grading contractor did accidentally damage Mr.******** ******** and tree  on 10/11.  While clearing a neighboring property, our grading contractor had a tree fall across Mr. ******** ******** making a small crack near the edge of the ******** as well as damage to a ******************  ****************** reached out to me directly and was extremely vulgar. During our conversation I offered to make repairs to the small area damaged to ******** and offered to replace the tree or hire an arborist to prune the existing tree. ****************** informed me that he was consulting his attorney if we didnt replace his whole ********, which we are not going to do. He additionally told me that we had to make modifications to our boat dock which had nothing to do with the situation .

PDC is the general contractor on the project but we hire self managed third party contractors to perform the work. At no point was PDC in violation of any OSHA regulations. Our grading contractor has provided ****************** with his insurance information if ****************** would like to file a claim above and beyond the repairs that our grading contractor have agreed to.
