Concrete patio Job completed january 2025. Cmac services extended our current patio. We spent just under 5k.The patio slop is so drastic that it is visibly/physically noticeable and it is terrible. They also failed to install sufficient fill dirt under the concrete causing significant gaps that are visible from outside the patio. They also failed to put full dirt around the outside of the patio which allows for erosion to occure (which it has already started). After the project was complete and we asked ****, owner/manager, why the grade is so steep, he told us that the reason the slope is steep is because they would have had to put a step. Instead of asking us if we wanted a step, he made the decision himself to not put the step in. Resulting in a completely unlevel patio. His works also left debris surrounding the patio and the works threw buckets of concrete debris over our fence. We requested *****/****** , manager/owner, to come out with his laser level and he said he would. 2 weeks later after canceling several times, the owner sends out the guy who built our patio, and was told the pad drops 6 inches in 20 feet (which according to them is within tolerance). No one elses patio in my neighborhood looks anything like ours, theirs all look complete, ours looks unfinished. The gentleman ****** sent was not allowed to make any decisions he was just sending photos back to the owner. After a week of not hearing back, we reached out and were told it is "in tolerance". Completetly ignored the concerns we brought up. We brought in a 2nd concrete company to inspect the patio, and they were shocked by the steepness of the grade and the lack of care for cleaning up the site and how significant that gaps under the concrete are. We also brought a landscaper in to address the erosion. We will need an estimated $1k in dirt to prevent any more erosion from occurring. Should have been done by concrete **************** are too big to upload, but i have them
