    I paid this company 6 months ago for garage doors for my new house and I can’t get no updates and no one is returning my calls.I stop by the business today and the owner pulled a gun on me and threatened me and said this is private property but this is the same business I went to when I gave them a check for over $6000 dollars

    Documentation presented to the BBB by the complaintant is an estimate only.

    "...and I can’t get no updates and no one is returning my calls."


    Documentation presented to the BBB by the complaintant shows an update and response to his texted inquiry. There is an additional response to the complaintant's text; however, the complaintant failed to include the reponse in his evidence. Burden of proof by complainant showing response to answered calls has not been provided.


    "I stop by the business today..."

    Business is conducted at the customer's home where the service is completed (for example: the installation of a garage door). Smooth Operator Garage Doors does not have a "place" of business.

    "...and the owner pulled a gun on me and threatened me and said this is private property but this is the same business I went to when I gave them a check for over $6000 dollars."

    As stated above, the "place of business" is at the customer's home. The address on the estimate is for mail correspondence only. This address is located over 1/4 mile off the highway down a dirt path as shown on ******. It is clearly a private residence.
