I received a email from **** The ******** Emergency which is supposed to be a bill from them. I never received an actual bill. But I attempted to pay it anyway and I paid $40 on the bill. The bill was like $79 and change. I received another bill asking to make another payment to keep it out of collections. I opened it up and looked at it the balance was still $79 and change . I called them and at first they kept telling me that they couldnt see where I had made the 2 payments. Then when I told him that I had my receipts . On April ******* I was treated for a bleeding problem at the at the Atrium Emergency Facility in ******, **. The charges for the emergency treatment were accepted by ******** and my AARP United Healthcare supplement.I subsequently received notification in June that there were additional charges from a ****************** at the Carolinas Emergency Group (CEG) in the amount of $935 that werent covered. And the amount was due. I called ******** on 06/17/2024 and was advised that the detail that had been submitted was incomplete and that the charges may duplicate charges made by Atrium. I was advised to asked CEG to resubmit the claim with complete details. On 6/17/2024 I called CMG and asked that they resubmit the claim with complete details. CEG indicates the claim was re-submitted: but I have checked ********, and they do not show that the claim was resubmitted.I have tried contacting the ***************** locally at ****** but get referred to the phone number for CEG.In the interim I continue to get Past Due notices for the invoice and seem to be on a merry- go-round. Note: the address on the Invoice from CEG is ***********************************
