On January 28th, I arrived at the Unscripted Hotel for a 1 night stay. My original room was an inside room. When brought to the room, it was visibly dirty. Hairs in the bathroom, bugs on floor. It also smelled so strongly of marijuana, which isn't legal in the ***********************. This smell was in the elevator and throughout the hotel hallways. When the receptionist showed me to the room, my sister (who was with me ) and I commented on the smell. The receptionist said she smelled it too and knew the person causing the smell as they were a frequent customer. Once I got to the room I noticed the cleanliness issue and told her it wasn't acceptable. She offered a different room that was right next to the dining patio and the pool, which didn't close until midnight and would be noisy. This didn't suffice. We asked to speak to a manager but she said all the managers were in a meeting and they didn't like to be interrupted. She would give it a few minutes and check in the other customers. I stood to the side for about 10 minutes while she waited on other customers. Once she finished, she finally went to get a manager. About another 10 minutes went by and I missed my dinner reservation. A manager finally came out and said there was nothing he could do. This is absolutely unacceptable. The rooms they represented online were in no way what I experienced in real life. I would like a refund of $184.04
