I entered into a contract with Critter Control to lay traps, to fix flashing and to apply guards over our outside vents. it is unclear what happened to one of the guards vents application because the vent was severely damaged. The only thing the technician was doing with installing over the vent and the vent itself which was working should not have be touched at all in the process of this installation. They mentioned something not needing to be done and took off $150 dollars on the day of installation. They did not mention anything about the damage. After they left, I realized that the vent was severely damaged, now a gapping hole into my house that was previously covered. I called and they came back and took pictures. Said that they wanted me to approve the work and for their insurance to fix the hole. This seems to me like they are looking to get paid twice once for the installation and then again for damage that had nothing to do with the original installation. I never got a satifying explanation on why the vent/house was damaged when it was not involved in the original work.

    *******,

I have reviewed your comments regarding the damaged vent cover.  I agree that this is something that should have been handled while we did the initial repair.  Per our notes we did send *** to confirm that this is a warranty issue and needed to be fixed.  I must apologize that somehow after *** noted we need to replace the vent cover the actual work order slipped between the crack.  There is no excuse for this on our part, however, please note that we will fix this at no cost to you.  We can repair this and you do not have to be home, but if you prefer to be home when we do this repair we can set up a specific day and time to complete this.

Please call the office or email us with your preference.  ************ or *****************************.com

Again I apologize for this as this is not how I want our customers to be treated.
