I used Streamline Services to replace my HVAC system and to install insulation on the ductwork in my basement in August 2024, and unfortunately that was an extremely expensive mistake. We have since had them out 7 times that I have record of to repair issues related to the ductwork insulation, at extreme disruption to mine and my husbands jobs which are based in our home, and on 2 of those occasions they also had a manager supervising. Its the least of my concerns at this point but they left a mess each time they came, insulation scraps and screws all over the place and tape stuck to the floor. After all that, the insulation has never been properly adhered to the ductwork and has fallen down repeatedly, there are multiple areas where the fiberglass insulation is exposed and where the tape has visibly lifted. The photos show what it looks like today, after the 7 repair jobs. Would you be happy with this in your home at the cost of $6,592? At this point we will have to pay another company to come tear it all out and replace it, especially if we ever wanted to sell our house. Its ineffective and looks terrible.Their communication is somehow even worse than their workmanship. Ive been trying to speak to a manager about a refund since December (I have record of 10 such inquiries I made in that time) and Ive either been ignored or told that someone will call me and it never happens. They did give me a refund that amounted to roughly 8% of what I paid for the duct wrapping about two weeks ago, without contacting me or letting me know which I found odd, however that is not at all reflective of what I should be refunded after all of this and I think they just did it in hopes that I would leave them alone.I really wanted to resolve this with them amicably and have been exceedingly patient with them but unfortunately that goodwill hasnt been reciprocated. We paid for our ducts to be wrapped and sealed and I think its clear we didnt get what we paid for.Business Response

10/08/2024 was the initial date of ********** water went out and I called Streamline who sent out there technician. I was at work so he was communicating with me over the phone. First her replaced the pressure switch as he stated the well had no power. This cost ******. After this he stated that the well pump still has no power and that it must be the well pump. He advised that because my well pump was 220 feet down it would cost over ***** dollars to replace this and the pressure switch and well pump usually go out at the same time. I explained that I thought this was too high and he assured me that this the normal price and he would have it replaced same day. I advised that I am not sure but hesitantly agreed as i had no water in my home. He then proceeded to me that they have a membership program I can sign up for to flush my hot water heater and check my home for leaks and signing up for this would save me money. So he did the work and per invoice it states that he replaced everything including lines and put a 200 ft pump with replacing all lines and wires. I thought this was normal. I called around to a few other plumbers and was told that the well pump and pressure switch do not go out at the same time and even have a letter now stating from the company that this does not happen. So I was mislead/ lied to. Then when I had them come back out on 11/19/24 for the inspection come to find out that my well has been running for over a month!! Saying they used the wrong pipe. Als that my hot water heater could not be flushed because it was to old! 11/23/24 I went outside and my ground was covered in water. Traced it back to the well and water was constantly coming from the well. Called them back and they advised it the pipe cracked again. This well pump has increased my energy consumption, not to mention the strain it has placed on the pump. This company took advantage of me with the price and they do not do quality work. Videos and pics I could not upload but haveBusiness Response

Dear Ms. ****** -
I am sorry that your service did not meet your expectations. At Streamline, we strive to deliver a 5 star experience and your satisfaction is of upmost importance.
We have carefully read your note and wanted to provide clarity on the issue. When the well pumps have issues, it can make the pressure switch turn on and off and cause the water pressure to drop. If the pressure switch is having issues, it can cause the well pump to turn on and off. That was what our technician noted when examining your system. The flooding that happened after the install was due to a manufacturers defect in a PVC pipe which we came out and replaced on a weekend as soon as you notified us.
I am not sure what letter you are referring to but would appreciate if you can send us a copy of it. Our plumbing service manager will reach out to you to address any additional concerns you may have.
Thank you

On 3/18/2023 I called this company with regards to a clogged toilet.I was charged $189.00 for a "diagnostic fee".I was told the toilet was broken, not clogged, and had to be replaced at a cost of $850.00 Fortunately I asked my son about this, he said that one doesn't need to replace a toilet over a clog. He came over the next day, took my plunger and unclogged the toilet in about 20 seconds.I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me as I'm over 90 years old.As the diagnostic was 100% wrong I feel entitled to a full refund. Others should be warned about how this company tries to take advantage of elderly people like myselfBusiness Response

In regards to the complaint filed by *********************************- ************** was called out on a Saturday morning, because this was an afterhours emergency call our diagnostic charge for non members is $189. Due to the fact that the plumber on call did not give repair estimates, only to replace the toilet (per ************************** request) our service manager **** refunded the diagnostic charge. We in no way shape or form take advantage of the elderly. It's is our priority each and every day to take care of people. We take responsibility for the lack of repair estimates and miscommunication and the issues on our end have been addressed.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:The person did try to fix the toilet, said he couldn't, and recommended his company replace it.Toilet was fixed in ten minutes next day by son.
