Remember they dont build the buildings they are a rep for building manufacturers. Therefore after the sale and once the contract is signed their level of support drops drastically. One tidbit they wont tell you is, if your building isnt a full truckload then they put others on with it and your install date becomes an estimation based on how the weather is for the other customers. They will not install out of order on their truck. If yours is on the bottom then you wait until they can install all the other ones. Had I known this I may have gone elsewhere! Extremely unhappy with the installation coordination

Most of the installation information is located on the back of the contract that you signed. We try to be as transparent as possible with our customers. Although we have no control over the scheduling process, we are here to help you through it and can reach out to the manufacturer on your behalf. I could not be more displeased with this company. They are a front, they do not provide any of the products they sell the customer. They take your money, and contract out to a subcontractor to build the building you thought you purchased from them. It is taking twice as long as we were initially told it would take to build our building. The contractor (Carolina ********* they subbed out to doesnt call us back when we call to get updated. They make an appointment to inspect the foundation, and call 45 minutes before the appointment to reschedule, now I have to take off work again. I called Viking Steel to lodge a complaint and ask them to select a different contractor and were basically told oh well. They told me I would lose my deposit, and have to give them a new one. Repeated told me I shouldve and read my contract, weather, and other excuses for still not providing the service Ive purchased. I will never use either Viking Steel, nor Carolina ******** ever again. Thank god I dealt with this early and before the other building I need are purchased. Will definitely find a new provider from here on.Viking Steel Structures, LLC

Good morning *********, We hate that you have had a negative experience with the process. As discussed during our phone call, the manufacturer had to reschedule due to the weather. Although the weather was not bad in your area, it was in other areas where the contractors were prior to your installation. You had mentioned wanting another manufacturer, and I explained that if we did that, then we would have to do another contract and use the pricing for that manufacture. You declined. We are here to help in any way we can but have no control over the manufacturer scheduling process. I have reached out to the manufacturer, who informed me they have given you a new installation date. Ordered my barn week of July 4th. Put deposit on my credit card and by the middle of August , I had a beautiful barn at far less than I expected to pay. Not sure why all of these people have had problems, but I was very pleased with the structure and the group that put it up.Viking Steel Structures, LLC
