    False promises and don't answer the phone. It's been months and called from a different number for them to answer on the first ring. Every time I speak to them they promise a call back or the vehicle will be finished the following Monday or Friday.

    Contacted **** and ****** about repairing transmission on a 1990 ***** k5 Blazer. Was told that they couldn't repair but would replace with newly remanufactured transmission from Auto zone for @$1600. Paid the parts ($1600) and labor (@$600) up front, in full. Took 2 or 3 months to ever get started working on my truck with the excuse of "waiting on part". Part finally arrived and was installed about 2 months later stating that others were ahead and i would be next. Finally was told that truck was fixed and picked it up... Truck still not working. Transmission wouldn't change gears and had no reverse. Took truck to another mechanic and was told that the transmission was no good, looked to be cleaned up and painted junkyard transmission. This all started in April of 2023 and it is now April 2024 and I still don't have a working truck. On top of that, they won't answer the phone or respond to messages. I have been cussed at and been threatened. I am out over $2000 and I am very angry that I have been robbed and taken advantage of. These people are crooked and should not be trusted or even be in business, they should be in jail.

    1) picked up boat trailer on August 1, 2023, on way home trailer brakes stayed engaged, called A&R auto. and was told to bring back for adjustment. 2 weeks have gone by, now A&R auto will not answer phone?I paid over $5,191.64 dollars to have this job done and completed business will not respond to any type of communications.2) complaint, shocks replaced less than 3 months ago, A&R auto keeps saying they ordered new shocks and they have not arrived yet, going on since July 27th, 2023, for 3 weeks now?this job $1,502.46.

    With regards to boat trailer, please call the shop office and schedule an appointment, and will be happy to make any adjustments. 

    With regards to front shock on ******** he was advised over 8 months ago to replace both front shocks for driver and passenger sides. I priced the shocks multiple times, he decided he only wanted to replace just 1 because he felt it really only needed 1 shock- we told him the recommendation is to replace the front in pairs. He advised to only order and replace 1 front air shock for drivers side. That was completed in May 2023. ************** has been advised that he will need to come to the shop and order the passenger side front shock and we can then schedule an appointment for replacement.

     I accept and will schedule boat trailer for adjustment.  However, this has nothing to do with my ********** *********** Its the 2017 ***** Surburban Premier fronts shocks that I pre paid $1,263.00 for. You replaced and they went bad, you said you ordered replacement shocks and you would call when they came in, It been over several months with no phone calls and no response. when i call shop or cell no one answers.

    With regards to the 2017 Chvey Suburban Premier front shocks, the parts are covered under warranty. The parts were on backorder at the parts store until approximately 2 weeks ago. In last communication with customer he was notified and told parts were on back order. Contacted the parts store and was advised the front shocks for **************************************************** store for pickup tomorrow, September 7, 2023 once they came in they would call shop. The customer may bring vehicle in to shop on September 8, 2023 for replacement of front shocks as covered under warranty. With the completion of replacement parts all issues should be resolved.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as far as the Surburban is concerned.  However, boat trailer has not been done yet, because the Surburban is the tow vehicle. Once that is done, I will bring boat trailer to his shop for adjustments, and when that's done, I will give finale response to resolve this complaint.
