I brought a 2011 ******* MKX from ******* on 3/3/23. I was informed that the car is as is, but it is a good car with no major problems. I tested drove the car and it seemed to be ok, and I was told by ***** that they were adding a warranty with the car which I paid for. The warranty was a 3 months warranty with ************. Two and a half weeks after I bought the car the engine blew, I had the car towed back to ************ because I was in ********* ** when the car broke down. ***** the owner of DW Auto told me that he was not going to tow the car back, so I had the car towed to One Links Mechanics, ********************************************************************************************, **************. The owner of One Links called me and said that ***** called him about ten times in one hour asking to pay him for what he had already done and let him come and get the car. He said that he didn't want any trouble and that he would just tow the car to my house. So I had no other choice but to allow ***** to get the car, ***** took the car to his mechanic (********* Tire and ************* and paid One Links for the service that they had done. Once ********* finished the car ***** told me that I would have to pay him $3700 before I could get my car back. The warranty paid $3000 and he said that ********* charged $6,059.42, and One Links charged him $691.85. I called ************ customer service and was told that he told them a different price of $4,946.32. ***** called me on the phone and asked me when I would have the money and he was going to give me until 4/15/23 to get him the money or he would resale the car. When ***** saw that I took the car to someone other than his mechanic he told me that if I continue fighting him on this that he would repo the car and I was not behind on payments. I didn't even have the car for one month and he was threatening to repo my car. One Links had agreed to fix the car for $3000, he said $1500 for the engine and $1500 for labor.

The majority of Ms. ******** claims are totally false.  ****************** purchased the 2011 ******* from ** on 03-03-2023. At the time of purchase the ******* had ****** miles on it and when she ran it hot, it had ******, a difference of about **** miles that ****************** put on the vehicle.... As with all of our vehicles , we provide a powertrain warranty, ****************** was offered an upgraded warranty and declined..... Please see all attached documents provided.... The place ****************** had the vehicle towed to told her and told ******* that they did not honor that warranty company. It wasn't until after the fact that we had vehicle picked up and towed to ********* and we notified ****************** of the difference she was responsible for, did she state that One Link said they would have honored the warranty..... Please also see attached document signed by ****************** that she would be responsible for any portion of any repair bill not covered by warranty...

I am rejecting this response because:

    Sincerely,

    *************************

i sent supporting documents that DW told me one price but told ************ another price. I called One Link and spoke to the guy his name is Indian and he told me that he did not tell ********************* that he did not do warranties. In fact he call the warranty to get the approval to fix the car and he said that he was told different stuff to do that he started doing before DW came and took the car after calling One Links about 10 times in a couple hours. ** in turn charged me for what One Link charged him. ************ only pays $3000 for engine replacement, so I had already spoke to the guy name Indian and he said that he could get a engine for $1500 and would charge $1500 to fix so I paid $400 to have car towed from ********* ** . Then DW go take the car from him which was wrong, I paid the warranty I should have a say on who fixed the car.  I had it set up so that I could pay with just the ************ before he came and got the car. And he is talking about the miles I put on the car I put $3500 down I owed $11000 I should be able to drive as many mile as I desired

We did not pick up Car , One Link brought the car to ** after ***************** gave them permission to do so.... ***************** has all the facts about this whole incident incorrect.... She did not pay for any warranty...DW Includes warranty in the deal, she was offered to pay for upgrade, which she declined...Bottom line is ***************** is trying to get out of paying any monies owed and agreed upon at start of deal...All papers signed and sent to support our side....

I sent 2 documents one I received from ***** from DW auto and one I received from ************. There are two different prices on these receipts, and I'm sure he will come up with a great excuse for this. I just paid $3500 down on a car that was no good, I say that because the engine blew in just two and a half weeks after I bought it. I really don't understand why anyone can't see the problem in that.  I should be able to drive a car that I am paying $350 a month on as many miles as I want to in one month.  And no I do not want to put $3700 more on a car that the dealer was not truthful about in the first place, and engine blew in less than a month and I still owed $11000 on.
