I am requesting a retroactive drop due to my severe health condition. I provided a letter from the ***, having been in contact since January 27, 2025, attempting the withdrawal process. I was told to get in contact with the registrar's office, counseling services, disability services, my advisor, and instructors which are attached. I was told to in order to withdraw without penalty I would need to contact ***** *******, with whom I've been in contact since February 4th, 2025. Today February 17, 2025, she sent me an email with adjusted dates of a previous denial of a retroactive drop. It has been a hassle of contacting this school throughout the entire process one person telling me to contact another person. While in contact with ***** she consistently requested from the *** personal information about my condition which is against HIPPA and PHI. I even asked the questions needed and ***** would not provide me with the questions. ***** has told me to continue the course until a decision is made. If I withdrew self-service I would be penalized. I withdrew today self-service based on the decision emailed to me. I cannot continue with the demands of the courses. This process has shown this university is not taking my health condition seriously and needs to be thoroughly investigated. I went ahead and withdrew the four summer courses since the university has shown me its poor practices. I was never offered extended assignments from the disability services or counseling services, as advised I would by my advisor.

I e-mailed the business' office and received no contact back. basically to many students within the school they were charged to pay back this needs base ***** which I don't know why we no longer qualify I believe it has something with the school switching their status. This is a scam to students and we should not be held accountable. I believe that the ***** ********* requirement is not my responsibility, as it was awarded to me by the university in error. Despite my attempts to seek written feedback on why I am no longer considered a needs-based student, I have not received a satisfactory explanation from the university. As a result, I feel that the university is overstepping its power and creating a stressful environment for veterans with disabilities that were notated in their proper reporting channels before I attended classes.
