To assist in reaching a resolution, *** informed the propertys general manager of the situation. The general manager will contact the guest on or before November 30, 2023. As a company, were committed to delivering a great experience with every stay with us.

    Please see below for explanation of dispute.On April 4, 2023, I checked into the Microtel Inn on a reservation (check in 4/4 and check out 4/5) I made a day prior.After checking into my room, I attempted to turn on the television and there was a message that said no service available.I then called the front desk and asked them to send someone to repair the television. The front desk clerk told me on the phone that there was no one available until the next day. At which time I would have already checked out.I then attempted to connect my work laptop to their WIFI network. The first and second attempt was unsuccessful as I received a message connection error. The third attempt was successful but there was no or very slow service available and I could not use the internet to do work for my company. Since I could not use the internet and was not able to conduct my work remotely. I decided to get another hotel and cancel my stay at the Microtel Inn.I went to the front desk clerk and asked her if they could fix my internet and tv. She said there was nothing wrong with the internet and no one was available to fixt the tv service. I asked her to please refund my deposit and that I would get another hotel. She said she would contact the manager and then call me back. I then left and obtained another hotel room a few miles away. I received no phone call or refund the next day. I then called back to the hotel (4/5/23) and the manger answered. She told me that she was told I just left the hotel with no explanation and that was not the case. I asked her to please refund my stay and she said she would contact the general manager and was very rude on the phone.I called the hotel again on 4/7/23 and spoke to *******. I asked for the manager and was told she wasnt in. Then I told her about the situation and she said oh the manager said she is not going to refund your stay. I told her that I would file a dispute with my credit card.Theyre website says that they provide television and free Wi-Fi neither of which I could use please consider this request for dispute.Thank you *********************
