We used this firm per our General Contractor for engineering plans required for a home remodel. We closed on our home loan 100 days ago, yet can not obtain permitting because **** will not finish our plans to the city's satisfaction. I can not begin the remodel, but I am already having to pay for the mortgage based on the fact that we CLOSED 100 DAYS AGO. The city also won't allow another engineer to finish this process since it's been started & plans were filed for our loan....so I'm stuck. Very unhappy we can not get ANY communication to anyone in my household or our GC.

    Business Response

    Date: 06/27/2022

The contractor and the customer had only attempted to contact **** ****** using his direct company phone number rather than the company general email. **** ****** was away from the office and was not receiving work communications to his direct number or email.   The customer **** ***** recently sent an email to the general office email, to which Mrs. ***** received a reply within 12 hours.  Note that the 100 days that Mrs. ***** mentions consists of initial time on site by the designer, engineer, surveyor, and builder, generally a 1 week period; time to develop the construction plans, approximately a 2 week period; time for the surveyor to prepare property drawings, approximately a 3 week period that parallels the development of the construction plans; and, plan submittal and review by the City, approximately a 3 day to 2 week process.  An industry low fee was charged for development of the plans, and the customer made no request for expedited plan development and delivery.

    The issue has been resolved
