  Odyssey installed new siding and a deck on my home and I couldnt be happier. Everything was done in a very professional and timely manner. That, in addition to clear, consistent communication allowed me to be at ease for the duration of the project which was absolutely wonderful.

  Odyssey Contracting did extensive work on my deck to replace all deck posts and put them on new foundations. Part of the deck is open and part of it is a screened porch so I was apprehensive about the screened porch section with all that weight. Odyssey Contracting did a thorough inspection and came up with a detailed explanation of what needed to be done and why. I signed the contract with confidence. They showed up quickly and did a careful and thorough job. Everyone on the team was friendly, courteous, and professional. I am totally pleased with the whole process and with the results. I recommend them highly. In fact, Ive already recommended them to three friends.**********

  Highly Dissatisfied with Inconsiderate Contractor: Lack of Communication, Empathy, Prolonged Timeline - A Warning for Potential Customers I had a highly disappointing experience with a contractor for a window and siding installation project. Their lack of communication, empathy, and professionalism was shocking. Measurement mistakes caused delays and inconvenience. They violated HOA guidelines by ordering incorrect windows and tried to shift the blame onto me. Repeatedly remeasuring and reordering extended the timeline. The supplier dumped materials on my driveway without notice, blocking my car. Communication was a nightmare with an unresponsive project manager. The project took an excessively long time, demonstrating their inability to deliver on time. Debris and nails from the initial work posed safety concerns, and I had to clean up myself. The contractor neglected to schedule a walkthrough, requiring my follow-up. Overall, the experience was highly unsatisfactory.Communication with the contractor was an absolute nightmare. The initial project manager assigned to my project was completely unresponsive, leaving me in the dark and having to constantly chase them for basic updates. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them.The timeline of the project was outrageously prolonged, taking a whole year from the moment I signed the contract. This caused significant inconvenience and demonstrated the contractor's inability to deliver within a reasonable timeframe.

  Odyssey Contracting cheated ** out of thousands of dollars and preyed on the fact that we were struggling with an underweight newborn child at the time of our negotiation. When we complained, they refused to refund ** any money. A leak began to drip down our living room ceiling light after heavier rains. We called various contractors. They had many competing theories, but by far the most common one was that the leak was coming from the chimney, and that we needed to replace the chimney cap. The day Odyssey's *** showed up, he went on the roof and took some pictures. Im not a roof expert but I tried to follow along with his explanation of what was wrong with the siding. My wife and I were still unconvinced, versus just replacing the chimney cap. ***** said replacing the chimney cap was unnecessary but that they could still do that, and put a temporary cap on in the meantime, but it would double the price to $5600. Keep in mind, we were having this entire negotiation between ***, ***** on the phone, and the boss man who swung by, all while our underweight one-month-old was wailing away inconsolably and we were trying to get to his pediatricians appointment. It was incredibly stressful and overwhelming. Finally, in the heat of the moment, we agreed to pay $5600 for them to do both: (1) $2800 to fix the siding and put a temporary cap on (the new scope of work), and a few weeks later, (2) $2800 to permanently replace the chimney cap (the original scope of work). A few days later, it rained. Guess what? The roof was still leaking, just like before! I felt like wed been totally conned. What the h*** did we just pay $2800 extra for?! A week or two later they came with the new chimney cap and installed it. The leak stopped. Furious, we called Odyssey and complained about what happened, hoping that Odyssey would refund ** the $2800 for the useless extra work that *** had done. They said theyd get back to **. They never did.

  Promise to do one thing but didnt do everything. Then wanted to charge me extra to do something that I was told was going to be done the first time even pointing out what needs to be done and was told it would be done but it never was. Also they have poor communication and takes a while to get any answers back. They said they do things professionally and make sure its done the right way but that was not the case.

  Would give zero star in I could. 12 weeks job turned to 10 months. Zero communication and I had to chase them down for answers.
  A particular employee dropped the ball several times and all I could get from them was "sorry mistakes happen". I have worked with hundreds of contractors and this was my worst experience yet.

  I cannot believe all the good reviews. I've had exactly the opposite. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I signed a simple deck replacement contract with them 11/2021. It's still not done. They did not seem to know the city permit rules for getting this job done. I was told multiple times the job would be done and it was not. I was ignored repeatedly on phone/email. Construction debris was left in my yard for months (I am in an HOA community). My daughter and I finally cleaned it up 5 months later in December 2022. I emailed about the job still undone, staining the deck, reconnecting the downspout to the French drain, replacing a tiny bit of siding. No response from the project manager.
  I cannot believe how ignored my requests for job completion were.
  Do not hire this company, they do not respond. ***** ********
