Tonight on November,4,2022 my mother ( ******* ******* ) made Reservations for 3 days at the comfort inn in ****** NC which cost her $350 She is disabled so she made reservations for a room that Is handicap assessable when entering the room she realized that it was not what she paid for. It did not have things that she needed For instance she cannot use a shower so she needed a room with a tub. She went to the front desk and Informed the man behind the desk about the issue he told her that he can get her another room that she would have to pay more She did not want to pay more So she requested a refund but he refused to refund her money even though it is not what she paid for and she was not in there long at all. Myself and my brother drove there to speak to manager or someone that can help Because surely she is entitled to her money back. Not only was there no manager or anyone that could help us the man couldn’t Provide me with any documentation or anything that states that she’s not entitled to a refund. I believe comfort inn conned my mother out of $350. She spent that money with the intent of receiving a handicap assessable room which she did not get and literally cannot stay in a regular room. She should get a refund if she is not satisfied with what she paid for.
