    I had my catalytic converter fixed at bennys transmission in August 2023. In january my check engine light came on and I had the code pulled at auto zone where it said that my catalytic converter went out again. I have not had the catalytic converter for a year yet so it is still under warranty. I took my car back to bennys transmission where I had it fix. They pulled the code and it read catalytic converter failure. They proceeded to tell me that my light was on despite what the code was pulled for catalytic converter They told me it was because of the gas I was using which is 87. They told me I needed to put in a higher grade. I did not believe them. They erased the code from my car and said there was nothing wrong with my car after two separate reading stating a failed catalytic converter. They told me I need to put a different gas in my car. I then proceeded to call the kia ********** where I bought the car from and ask what the manufacturer says about what type of gas is for the car. They informed me that it is in fact 87 which is what I have been using this entire time and they told me not to put any other gas in the car. I called back to ***** and explained that the car is suppose to take 87 gas. They told me there is nothing wrong with my car despite two separate codes being pulled one that was done by them. I felt like they did not want to fix my car eventhough it was under warranty and should have been fixed for free because it was a faulty catalytic converter and it has not been a year. They was very rude and denied anything being wrong with my car because I feel like they did not want to pay for my car to be fixed. I do not recommend this business for anyone getting there car fix. If you get something fixed by them and it breaks and it's under warranty they will not honor there warranties and fix your vehicle. The most shadiest thing they did was erase the code and then tell me that they have to have a code pop up for them to fix my car.

    The customer called us very upset about her car get having the cat converter code, we asked her to bring her car and we would check it out. Customer got to our shop and again she was upset which is understandable. Customer demmanded we change her cat right there and then. We explained we could not do that at the precise moment but she could bring it Thursday 1/25/24 and that we would kindly change her Cat since indeed it was still on warranty. The customer even took a video of 2 of our employees WITHOUT they're permission. The recording she has is of our employee saying to her indeed to bring her *** on Thursday 1/25/24 so we could fulfill with the job, customer failed to show up on the date given to her.
