      My wife brought in her 2016 ***** Suburban back to this mechanic after we had the transmission rebuilt. The car was hesitating and stuttering on acceleration. A condition that was not happening before the transmission was worked on. Without even looking at the transmission, we were told that we needed a catalytic convertor. An additonal $2200. I was told by the service manager that when they took one of the O2 sensors out that the problem was fixed and being that 2 were clogged the catalytic convertor needed replacement and we shouldnt even be driving the car. My wife picked up the car on Friday 9/6/2024 and went to **********. The issue still was occuring. When I called ****** on 9/11/2024, I explained the situation and told him that we got a second opinion from the ***** dealer and the catalytic convertor did not need to be replaced but it was in fact the transmission which they rebuilt. I dont know why a transmission shop would not look at the transmission that they replaced and just assume its something else. We do not trust this service shop to look at the car again and we are not going to spend money on something that isnt need. We would like a refund.
