I am writing to express my concerns and frustration regarding the treatment of my girlfriend by one or more of your employees with this business. She wasn't disrespectful verbally. However, she visited this location on my request to help me out while I was at work, to get an inspection and oil change.During the visit, she was informed by one of your employees that the transmission fluid was low. Not knowing much about car maintenance, she agreed to have it addressed and was subsequently charged $70. While I understand the necessity of upselling additional services as part of your business, I strongly disagree with exploiting customers who are not knowledgeable about the services being recommended.I find it hard to believe that my car needed 4 quarts of transmission fluid, especially since I had checked it last week and found no signs of major leaks. At most, it might have needed a small top-off, which certainly does not justify a $70 charge. The cost of transmission fluid is typically between $30 and $50, and the service required to top off fluid does not warrant such a high fee.I am upset because this incident feels like a clear case of taking advantage of a customer, particularly a woman, and charging an unreasonable amount for a service that *** not have been necessary. This is not acceptable to me. I have been a loyal customer at this location for years, but based on this experience, I am reconsidering my future patronage.
