Paid for our daughter (******** ******) to attend this “school”. Was misled by information given at time of payment. Daughter finished the classes and the externship (was supposed to be schedule by the school but wasn’t, she needed to find her own) and cannot gain employment due to not having the knowledge needed. Dental offices in the area have told her she should attend school elsewhere because their reputation is terrible. We want our money back so we can send her to a reputable school.

I registered with NC Dental U and had planned on attending the July 8 Monday and Wednesday night class in ********* NC. I did attend the first night and was made aware that in order to complete the class a externship would be required for a total of 40 hours in which i did not know till the first class. I realized this would not be a ideal time for me to complete the class now due to dealing with some family issues so I notified the instructor the next day that i would be dropping the class. I had paid a total of $2050.00 and I do realize that I cant get all my money back so I inquired what my refund would be and that's when they told me i would be getting $648.75 back. I asked why it was only that and why i was being charged the $1457.00 for a class I only attended one time for four hours. I did receive a book in which I was asked to return and they are charging me they said $730.00 for materials in which I never received. I do feel like I am owed back the money for that at least. I feel that I should at least get back around $1600.00 at least in total for the refund. I have attached the emails where the instructor is asking for the book back in which I did return and that was all the materials that I received and the withdrawal sheet was sent after the class began.
