Began the process of buying a home through ********* Homes, ********* in July 2024. Home was delivered to the business lot and sat for approximately 5 weeks before delivered to our land on 11/06/2024. Our contract included vapor barrier, bricked underpinning with a 10x16 front and back porch and 4x4 landing at the third door. Measurements were not done appropriately, and our septic tank is 9 feet from the front door, not allowing us the room for the 10x16 front porch in the contract. The general manager will not provide us the original quote for the subcontracted ***** or what the difference will be in making the front porch smaller. He wants us to just add the difference on the back porch, which we do not wish to do. The plumber sent out was difficult to deal with, did not check fittings placed by the factory (said it wasn't his job) causing our kitchen island to flood, which seeped water onto the floor. This occurred on 11/18/2024 and we are still waiting for someone to fix the plumbing issue. The finishing crew sent out was not licensed, we have been waiting for several months for our HVAC system to be delivered, and the update I got as of yesterday morning was that it would be here sometime after Thanksgiving after being told it would be delivered on 11/8/2024 initially. I have attempted to get into contact with the owner numerous times, and only receive a call back from the general manager, who states it is his job to handle issues but he provides no updates to getting issues fixed. We are still waiting on the electrician to arrive to place the panel box so that we can contact our power company to run power. With all the issues, no one from the company has been out to our land to follow up on any concerns or issues, only sending subcontractors who state "that is not my job." Our first mortgage payment is due on 12/15/2024, and we have no livable home.

Please dont hesitate to let us know if theres anything further we can assist you with.

    Customer Answer

The house was not bought through the ********** location. It was bought through the ********* location. I was informed the ******* location was the corporate location. All locations are owned by **** *****. I have addressed concerns with the manager of the Goldsboro location with no resolution and have reached out to the corporate location to speak with the owner, who will not respond to me. He only asks the general manager of the Goldsboro location to follow up, and nothing is being accomplished through that avenue. I dont need to speak with manager of the Goldsboro location, I need to speak with someone above him and was told this was the owner, **** *****.
