      On January 28, 2024, we were referred through ************ subcontractor repairman list and received a call from this company that they could make a service call the same day to assess our dryer which was making a loud noise. They diagnosed a "bearing or roller issue", and would order parts but required 100% for the parts and at least 50% down, for the labor on the job. We paid by check $483. They returned several days later to "finish the job" and reassured us that they guaranteed their work and would return if there was any problem.Within 3 days there was a return of the original symptoms. We called - they were "too busy to come right away" They said it was safe to continue using the dryer. He claimed he knew wha the issue was- "it just needs more grease" and he would get here as soon as possible to take care of it. Then they disappeared, started blocking our calls, not returning our texts or voicemails. Finally, we called another repair company, who came out and say the dryer is unrepairable because of the poor quality work done which makes it too costly (another $850) to repair it. Several screws were left off/missing and one of them was completely stripped, making it impossible to get the front panel off to get at the rollers thhat were malfunctioning. The tech said he's have to destroy the front panel to remove it and then we'd need a new front panel in addition to the roller repair. He did supply new screws to replace the missing ones and reassembled the dryer, but he recommended we start shopping for a new dryer. We feel scammed by them for not living up to their guarantee. We want our money back so we can buy a new dryer!
