I have not heard from Grandover Dental Care regarding my complaint. At my last phone contact with Grandover Dental care, requesting a written medical report regarding the treatment they provided to explain in detail what actions they took for the claimed medical condition, I was denied. I requested a written medical report, pictures of my dental condition at the time of treatment and x-rays. Only the x-rays were emailed to me, the other request were denied. Grandover dental care stated that the medical report and pictures can't be released to me because they are Proprietary to their business. I argued that they are my personal records and therefore I have the right to a copy. I have advised the Dental clinic that I disagree and that I would contact the insurance carrier, the BBB and my credit card company.

I have not heard from them since. I wish to warn future patients of this business of how I was treated and consider receiving care somewhere else.

ok advantage of my foreign wife and her lack of English skills and understanding and charge her for something she did not have and did not need treatment for. This place is doing horrible patient service. I refuse to pay !

Due to HIPAA regulations we can only give Mr or Mrs ******* the **rays we took from her on that day.  The hygienist and the dentist diagnosed her issue.  She was treated. Mr ******* expressed that his insurance should pay for his wife's cleaning.  I pointed out to him that his wife required a gingival scaling which is a deeper cleaning and his insurance did not cover the cost, this was at patient cost.  He did not want to understand that he had to pay for this scaling.  We have provided Mr ******* all that he needs to move on to another dentistry if he is not happy.  Medical notes and records do contain proprietary information and are not shared.  At Grandover Village Dental we do not determine what your insurance will and will not pay.  We must inform you the patient before any procedure begins.  Mrs. ******* was informed both verbally and in writing what the cost would be before we begin treatment.  In no way have we or would we attempt to take advantage of anyone for any reason.   When asked to provide her xrays we willingly complied. Mr. ******* did not receive the xrays because Mrs ******* did not give permission for him to receive her records on her consent forms.  We have handled the Grimoni family with the utmost in professionalism and patient care.

I am rejecting this response because:

Grand over village dentistry is using  proprietary reasons as an excuse to avoide showing prove that my wife really had gingervitis isdues, allrhough she had no associated issues.  I can fight for my right all day long to see prove if they refuse to show prove.

We are unhappy with this facility and will never seek treatment by some providers who is unwilling to step forward in providing proper documentation of provided treatment while hiding there responsibility behind the word:proprietary. Grander error dentistry is not trustworthy abd we will let everybody in our social circle know to seek care from them.
