Their business model seems to be a scam, they arrive on your property ( $125) and give you an outrageous cost for basic work. Then try to negotiate what you think it should cost. We received a bid from Blaze to install a kitchen faucet that we supplied of $1500 and once we refused they tried to negotiate to a $700- 800 range. We got a repudiable plumber that did the work for $285. I am amazed they are allowed to do business.

We do not have a record of a ***** or ****** ******* in our system and the Zip code of ***** is not in the state we are located. it is possible this customer is referring to a different business or this is an erroneous review.

The work was done at my daughters home in **********, ** *****. Not a different company at all. It was you and not an error. Nice try for someone trying to shift the blame.

BLAZE ARE SCAMMERS. I recently contacted blaze to come look at my HVAC unit because it was blowing out warm air instead of cold air. A tech came, checked it out and said either my compressor was bad or breaker. He stated that if it's the breaker then he would have to call in an electrician. He checked and saw that I was still under parts warranty and stated I would only have to pay for labor. He took a bunch of pictures even went up into my attic to take pictures of my furnace for whatever reason (at this point i see that he is just wasting time) He comes back and says it's the compressor and not to worry I was covered under warranty. Labor cost to install the compressor would be ****** dollars and he could do it the following day. I agreed. The sketchy part is he asked me to sign an agreement for the compressor replacement with is phone and he wouldnt let me hold the phone myself. I but my card information in wrong about 5 times but he still could let me put it in myself. He called his parts guy, and I heard the man say they could have the compressor by the following day. As soon as the tech leaves I recieve an email that says labor is *******. I immediatly tried to call the tech but was routed to the main office and they said they would have him call me. I didnt hear from him that day and had to call 3 times the next day in order to have him call me back. Once he called, he said he was unaware why labor cost was so high and he thought it was ******. He said he was going to contact his manager, who was out of town on vacation and see what the issue is. I never heard back from Blaze again. Then a few weeks later I receive a invoice for blaze for ****** for a breaker replacement. I watched the tech the entire time only thing he did was flip the breaker on and take pictures. I would have never agreed to pay ****** for a breaker replacement. Also, he told me in the beginning if it was a breaker issue then he would have to call electrician none of this happened. ****

After reviewing our records, this appears to be a miscommunication on multiple levels. Based on the statements in this review and invoice summaries, it is clear that there is confusion with both the customer and our company. We are reaching out to this customer to understand what happened and set things straight. We do not charge $700 for a breaker change, but we remain convinced the Compressor is damaged and needs replaced. Please call us and we will work with you to rectify this situation.

I was contacted by Blaze and I spoke the regional *** in which he explained everything to me and also had is Part/labor tech explain it to me as well. There was a big misunderstanding between myself and the 1st tech that came out to my house.Fortunately I already got everything taken care of by a different company but he was willing to make everything right if I hadnt.Everything is all good now..no harm no foul.

I just had a replacement for a water pump and bathroom faucet installed and we were charged 610 dollars for a faucet. Promise to send the bill of sale, never sent it, had to call to ask to send it through email. Not only we had to pay ***** dollars for that, toltal cost was ********. Call to speak to the manager , was told h*** call us back. Call back on Monday, told us that we had an objection between the two prices of faucet, but was not so! This company is over pricing the buyers! Beware of companies like this! The technician had the nicest personality, but he was just working alone with the company! I guess it was his job to go along!

Terrible customer service! The manager said he did not have to honor my service contract, that I did not pay enough, although I paid the quoted amount ***************** was scheduled a month in advance, and then cancelled without any notice, not even a call. The manager talked over me and was more that rude. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Blaze bought ************** Air recently. Last year ************** scheduled an appt. with me only to cancel due to an emergency call that they had to attend to. This year, under Blaze, another appointment for maintenance was scheduled. Again, the appointment was cancelled by the contractor, on the day of the appointment. It is without any accountability or compensation for the wasted time by the homeowner or tenant of the unit who took time off from their schedule to be available for an appointment set by the contractor. It is understandable if there really is an emergency but after having this happen twice in one year, I am dubious.

On 11/12/23, we called about a sewage line back-up in my mom’s hall bathroom. Your teammate did an inspection of many things beyond just the toilet back-up. He found that the water pressure valve was bad. I reluctantly agreed to let him change it out as he indicated this could be an issue later on down the line. After he got this installed, he then worked on the toilet clog. I had already pulled the toilet up. He ran an auger through it and was unsuccessful at getting it cleared. It was getting late and he said he needed to come back out the next day to reassess. After running a camera through the sewage line you could clearly see that it was indeed stopped up. After seeing the clog, you all worked on providing us “options” to fix it: Option 1 – Run all new sewage pipe from the impacted bathroom, reconnect toilet, sink and shower for over $5,000.00+. Option 2 - Run all new sewage pipe from the impacted bathroom, reconnect toilet, sink and shower…and add a clean-out for over $8,000.00+. Estimates here, as I was not provided an itemized receipt. I paid over $1,769.95 on 11/12/23. Didn’t realize this, as your teammate said I would not pay until the work was completed. I called later about the toilet set (which you all did not do) and received a credit of ($365). So I paid $1,404.95, for a pressure valve and install and a toilet auger clean-out that didn’t work. That’s a lot of money to not have addressed the primary issue (toilet clog) and reason for the call. Fortunately, I found someone else who was able to fix the original sewage line issue for only $301. They cleared the sewage line and set the toilet. Yes, that’s right, a total of $301. I truly feel like you all were trying to take advantage of my mom and me for $4,700 or even worse $7,700. If you are considering using Blaze, be sure to get other quotes before any work is performed. No one has replied to my written request on this issue.

Had an appointment setup for a Heating Tune up with Blaze Heating, was confirmed days earlier by the tech, then no body showed up for the appointment. Calling the office, I was told they no longer represent Home Depot, where the Black Friday deal had begun, yet was setup directly with Blaze Heating by me.
There was no courtesy in follow up and cancelling the appointment, nor regret when checking on scheduled appointment. Very disappointed in their lack of business etiquette. Will not do business with Blaze, as they seem to have no concern for the customer.

Blaze showed up at my mother in laws house to do a “ health check” in the process he intentionally struck an arc with the main power wire to the capacitor box. Causing a small electrical fire and blowing the capacitor. ( the system was working and running fine before he arrived) he quoted 4000 dollars for the repair that he made necessary, and then called in an “ electrician” who basically said the whole house needed to be rewired, and that would cost 17000 dollars. They left for the day with the ac broken and when I heard the story I was in disbelief that scammers like this operate and the BBB does nothing about it. I called a different company and all Blaze air damage was fixed for an 80 dollar house call in about half an hour. They were targeting her because of her age , the fact that she was alone at home and they tried to scam 21 thousand dollars from her. Do Not use Blaze Air ever!

Blaze technician Jonathan S****** came out to check our air conditioner that was blowing out warm air. After checking he told us the compressor was burnt out & all the coolant had leaked out. He proc eeded to try to sell us a new unit starting at $15k. We decided to call Piedmont Sheet Metal when their agent came out he wanted to know if someone else had worked on the unit.. Blaze tech Jonathan diaconnected some wires & turned the unit off & had & left it that way. Piedmont Sheet Metal tech found the compressor was just fine & there was refrigerate in it., all the unit needed was a capasitor. I contacted Blaze to tell them how their tech tried to rip us off. Was told a manager would be in contact with us, no one has been in touch . If you use Blaze please get a 2nd opinion.

Blaze Air recently took over my service with Air Treatment. First, I was not notified of the take over or merger.
Second, i pay a maintenance fee for my furnace and AC unit to be serviced twice a year. Air Treatment was kind enough to call and remind me when it was time to schedule the service. Blaze Air puts it in the customer to call. Otherwise they get my money for nothing.
Third, I have called twice in the last 36 hours for Blaze to send a technician regarding the humidity level in the house (set to 50% but now running at 85%) and the AC unit not being able to keep the set temperature. I am uncomfortable but I am more worried about my two young kids. I was told both times that the on call technician would call us back. Still nothing.
I would lastly like to say that my extended family has used Air Treatment in 4 different households for the last 15 years. But since becoming part of Blaze Air, a salesperson tried to have my grandparents hand over money to have the entire house replumbed including new toilets and faucets. My poor Grandparents (very trusting) wrote a check and agreed without question. Let’s just say that check got canceled along with the contract.
Therefore, my entire family will no longer be doing business with Blaze Air. I don’t know how a company with such poor customer service can still be in business.
