    Hired ML Renovations to do a complete bathroom upgrade in the master bedroom. Signed the contract in March 2024 and asked 50% of the contract. He committed to start in August 2024 due to other work. After many delays he ended up starting in the last week of October 2024, with the promise to finish before Thanksgiving as I had family visiting. First week was pretty good, but after that, he started to arrive late, arguing multiple excuses, from a friend whose car was broken, to helping the repair of his local church. Even one day he spent the entire afternoon in his car in front of my house, arguing with his wife. He ended up not delivering the work for Thanksgiving, and when I asked him if he could pause the work for the thanksgiving week, so I can have my family, he said he cannot stop, and if I ask him that, he will start another work, and put mine on hold. So he continued to work throughout thanksgiving week, while I had visitors at home. His delays continued, but he committed to finish before end of year as I had other family members visiting during Christmas. Lo and behold, he did not complete the work, and he was working in my house while I had visitors during Christmas. In January, he almost completed, but had pending a window replacement in the bathroom, finish the tile around the window, and some other minor details. He said he will finish the work two weeks later as he did not find any windows. As of today (March 23, 2025) he is completely unresponsive. I sent a note asking to confirm if he was going to finish, or should I find another contractor, and just sent a text message, that he does not have time to respond messages. Completely unreliable.

    Manny ********************** was hired to complete home renovations. The job was supposed to be complete 8/9. On 10/3 I reached out due to no show on 10/2 to complete the project as this had been a continuing issue of him now showing up and calling me the next day making excuses. The first excuse was vacation, other excuses were other jobs including a deck. At the end of Sept I was told our closet doors could not be replaced, the crown molding in the kitchen was forgotten (not taken down), they could not secure our steps, on Oct 2 after no call no show I told ***** we would complete what was not done.What was not done:6 doors (4 closet, 2 laundry room)Ceiling spot in spare bed bathroom and closet not painted Crown molding in kitchen not removed Shoe molding in front of cabinets not attached Incomplete or incorrect shoe molding in upstairs bathrooms x2 Rails not painted Landing floors not laid top step and landing step not capped Steps not secured down Not painted under light fixtures Walls not being sanded properly in several spaces Gaps in flooring upstairs (plenty of flooring left shouldve been corrected)Living room and Dining room incorrect accent wall Job abandonment (stated you were coming on October 2 to finish and never showed I was here the entire day. On top of the constant no shows prior to this date. Project was supposed to be complete 9/8 on 10/2 it still was not complete and that wasnt due to any other reason besides you contracted it out, you didnt show up when you said you were due to vacation and other projects including a deck)Debris and construction matter were not cleaned out of the home Dust was not swept up or contained Vanity was damaged due to bucket being removed from below pipe
