    I received a card in the mail inviting me and a guest to a 90 minute presentation on a travel club? - I called and went thru their vetting - offering direct honest answers. I indicated that a spouse wasnt my guest and they asked if I had a significant person- I do my son. I gave them full information. Appointment was 530 we arrived at 532. We were welcomed by name as they were eagerly waiting on us. A man appeared and told the receptionist to give us the promised gift and have us fill out a one minute paper asking to see a credit card. We showed the cc and gave income and employment information. The man reappeared and told her to give gift and thank us for coming. I asked his name and if we were not going to see the presentation he said no because I didnt have a spouse. I asked how long he had been in sales and his name and if there was a sales manager available I would like to see the presentation. I let him know my son although young was employed at ****** with $60,000 in income and owed his home. I felt we were being prejudged as unable to buy - he said give him credit card and I could buy - I said I wanted to know what I was buying. He said he was ****** the owner- BBB has Ms ******* as owner. I spent a career in sales and was educated on trends and percentages but built career on treating all with respect and raised a family quite comfortably by not prejudging people by snooty perceptions. I reached several levels above my associates because I obtained many customers they passed on. Seems shady business practices from the start.
