Learn more about reviews.Rain F.012 42 minutes ago I brought my Birkinstock sandals to this place and I was overjoyed to find a person who could resole them and fix the cork. The person at the desk, who, I was told, is the daughter of the owner, took a look at them and told me they could be resoled and they could fill in the cracked cork. I thought that was great and asked if they would call me when they were finished and she said no, they do not call, I would just have to return and check. Why they ask for a phone number, I don't know. Anyway, I returned today and the soles look great, but the cork is not filled in. The person working today was the only person there and said he is just a family friend. He wouldn't tell the name of the owner nor would he give me any contact info. Had he, this would have been done privately, I see no reason to post this publicly but they left me no option. About the cork: They only did part of the job. I paid and brought them home, but I will never return there nor will I recommend them to anyone, because they did not do the entire job. Had they offered to make it right, perhaps, or take them back and actually finish the job, then it would have been ok, but they did not even offer. I guess they don't want to work, which is ironic considering they have signs posted in the building, which I did not notice when I dropped the Birkinstocks off, complaining about teenagers and their lack or work ethic.This is really too bad. I had high hopes for this place and I was ready to sing their praises, which I would have happily done had they just done the job or at least made it right after I pointed out the fact they they hadn't finished the job. They did part of the job only.If only their work ethic was better.
