We went in the middle of the night and the kindness and compassion of the staff, emphasizing their ability to provide comfort and support to both pets and owners during difficult times. We watched a lady become belligerent while the staff continued show professionalism. We are very thankful they were there to take great care of our dog.

Sunday night, My husband took our 2 yr old german shepherd . Was hit by a truck. Before leaving our home, she was walking and very calm. He went to Happy Tails Emergency Clinic because the clinic was close to our home. My husband even called ahead, explaining her condition, she had blood on her nose and ************************ fine but she coughed/cleared her throat twice within a ******************************** cry out when picking her up and taking her out of the truck, or putting her on the ******. The staff were very nice. Then, they waited until he paid the $500. before they would start to even look at her. They were all about the money! They gave her ******** for pain before the X-rays were taken. Afterwards, my husband was given the diagnose and said her breathing was really bad. They said to repair her diaphragm meant she more than likely wouldnt make it through the night that animals had a low recovery rate with a herniated diaphragm. They didnt think she would make it through the night due to her breathing. The vet talked my husband into euthanize her because of her breathing. Why? WHY ON GODS GREEN EARTH, WOULD YOU GIVE A DOG ******** WHEN SHE WAS DEALING WITH BREATHING!!! We contacted the clinic twice this week to speak with or hear from the owner. It is Thursday now, no contact! We went to them because we believed they were the experts. And advised us the best for our dog. Yes, he signed the form and she said the word ********. His state of mind was not even there. That is their job to do the best for your animal. We firmly Believe due to the pain medicine of ********, it damaged our dog beyond survival. It also says after researching a German Shepherd has a 55 to 85 percent survival rate. I would never recommend them. Please drive those extra miles! While the staff there were very nice and compassionate. the associate vet we feel made a decision to give our girl ******** before evaluating her chest condition, WHY?
