      We paid East Carolina Home Care a deposit and was told they would hold check until we stopped using them. Our last visit which was12/29/2024. Thought money would be returned. Since I didnt receive payment, I called 1/31/24. Spoke with ****** said he would get with *** (owner). We still havent gotten our money back. We were private pay. The amount due to us. I keep calling but I am getting the run around. They took the money up front and told us it would be returned. This is a bad way to run a business.

      We are currently suffering from a nationwide cyberattack on our VA billing.  The complainant is being paid her deposit back as quickly as we can within our current situation.  We have explained this fully to the complainant. We offer our apologies for the problem and will continue paying her back as quickly as we can.  We thank the complainant for her patience and her business,

      I am rejecting this response because: We paid that company  up front and told us we would get money back within 30 days it would be in a special account. This was private pay. No insurance was involved. The owner would not call me and talk about payment. I have called him several times. This was not a loan. We are retired and not running a loan company.
