    We enrolled my son in the Puddle Jumpers day care in Leland, NC on May 3rd 2022 and gave an initial deposit and fee amount of $575 with a start date of August 1st. Since then, the location in Leland abruptly changed owners with no real explanation as to why. Attempts to contact the old owner have been unsuccessful and we have been unable to get any information. We would like a full refund as we never received any services and are not enrolling our son in day care.     I, ****** *****, am formally demanding reimbursement in the amount of $475.00 paid on 02/21/2022 for the fall 2022 registration and 3-day tuition.
    $100.00 registration fee and $375.00 Tuition was paid for ***** ***** to start preschool classes August 1, 2022, at Puddle Jumpers Leland, NC location. This location is now closed with no notice to parents.
    My previous email request for reimbursement was declined with the business stating "We are happy to provide a credit on your account for use at any of our Hampstead programs with open availability in the amount of $375. Please understand, we cannot offer you any credit towards these programs if we do not reopen. All payments are non-refundable as per our website, all invoices, and your signed agreement. Your signed contract provides proof of your agreement to terms and conditions. We hope that answers your questions regarding refunds of tuition."
    This is not an acceptable resolution due to money paid for Leland NC preschool not another city for a school which may or may not open.

    I enrolled my two children at the preschool on March 14, 2022 to begin school on August 1st, 2022. I paid a total of $875 for both children. The preschool just notified me that it is transitioning ownership and having internal issues and will not be opening on August 1st, 2022 for the month of August that I paid for. I requested a refund as I will now have to pay for schooling elsewhere and they have denied that request. They told me the fee is non-refundable per my contract. However, they are now in breach of contract for not providing the service I paid for and are refusing to refund my money. They also refuse to speak on the phone and will only communicate via email.
