Back in Nov 22 I went to the rid a bug payment site to renew the termite contract. After submitting my card for payment I received an error message so I tried it again. Same thing happened so I assumed their site was down and waited a week. Again I submitted payment and got the error message. I then went to my bank app and check to see if anything went thru - 3 payments all were charged. I called rid a bug and was told they didn't get my money and I needed to contact my bank. After speaking with Bank of America 2x they confirmed that payments did indeed get made to rid a bug and provided them documentation from bank of america. The following week I received a check for 2/3 of what I paid so I thought we were good. They told me that I still owed 150$ and I once again showed them that I paid 450 and they returned only 300. They did send a tech out for the annual visit prior to this being settled and knowing I paid I thought we were good. The other day i called to have someone inspect something in the garage that looked suspicious for termites. A man called me back and said I never paid and canceled my contract. I explained all that I wrote above to him and he still said they don't have my money but he would look into it. No return call. I either want my 150$ or to be serviced according to the contract. I shared screen shots of my 3 payments & the check they sent for 2 of them. I did a search for rid a bug and those were the only transactions that came up. I feel like they are crooks. And putting this on me. I don't know what else to show them to get this rectified so I am coming to you.

    Date: 06/11/2023

We received this letter yesterday, Saturday 6-10-23.

We went out to the house last week to investigate the issue she was having and it was spider webs, not termites.

Our software company and banks are looking into the refusal of charges on her credit card to us at this time and we are to be back in touch with her after they call us back.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 2*******, and I accept it.

I will note that they are still stating that it is a refusal of my payment - which is a odd choice of words as they cannot show that I was not charged or refunded that money?  And i dont know why it is taking so long to figure that out? They did come out which is what  was paying for so thats a win noting it was accomplished because I  reached out to you - thank you, I appreciate your assistance.

    Cheers
