      My mother was a resident at Terra Bella ****** before Discovery Senior Living bought the place. She was never really happy there due to unfulfilled promises and bad food. She took a fall and the government agency that oversees senior residence advocacy visited her and discovered mold in her room that had been there for quite some time. I met with the Executive Director - ************************* and requested a thorough cleaning of her room including new carpet and bed as well as cleaning all of her clothing and personal items. They proceeded to clean the carpet without moving the bed, not clean the bed, not replace the bed or clean her clothes. His arrogance and unwillingness to assist any further led us to verbally give notice we were leaving for her health and safety sake and we did just that. Many of her personal items were thrown away and the rest we had cleaned at our expense. I received a letter today demanding $7255.00 from ************************* stating they are sending it to collections and threatened to take me to court for payment including their lawyers fees. I'm extremely upset by this company and particularly ********************. My 85 y/o mom is in great distress because of the threats made by this man and the entire situation is unacceptable. I'm contacting my attorney and the cooperate offices:Discovery Senior Living and Terra Bella Senior Living *************************************************************************************** Hopefully a satisfactory resolution will come about quickly without the attorney getting involved and give my mom and I some peace from this issue. I do not recommend Terra Bella ****** to anyone as a place to let your loved one reside. Please understand I don't know anything about any of the rest of the properties owned by Discovery Senior Living and don't wish them any bad press, just this one facility Terra Bella ****** and this one man *************************.
