    I rented a Bobcat Tracked Loader machine at 10:55 am, Saturday March 4, 2023 from King Equipment Rental. Scheduled date of return was for Monday March 6, 2023 At 7:30 am. I paid $265.00 for the Bobcat and $65.00 for the trailer. I took the Bobcat home and started to work with it, after about two hours of working with it, the machine stopped working and after inspecting it, I found a broken belt. I called the company number ************* and all it did was ring. No one picked up the phone nor did an answering machine come on. I then went to the rental store, approximately at 1:30 pm and found out they were closed for the rest of the day, including the next day Sunday. On Monday, 3/6/2023 at 7:30 am I went to the store to let them know that the belt on the machine had broken and that I was not able to use the machine over the weekend because of the broken belt and the store being closed and no emergency number. At this point, the employee (****) told me they would send someone out to fix it and for me to bring it back on Tuesday. On Monday evening after work, I tried to get the machine out from where it was, trying to maneuver it and then it became stuck. I went back Tuesday, 3/7/2023 and told them I could not get it out. They then sent someone out to pick it up. I let them know I needed the machine for Saturday and Sunday to complete the work or they could refund me the money because I was not able to use it Saturday and Sunday 3/4/2023 and 3/5/2023 because the machine stopped working within two hours. I was told that I would not get a refund or the machine for another weekend because he said I already had it for three (3) days. The business committed to provide me with functioning equipment and once the belt broke it no longer functioned. They refused to resolve the problem with either a refund or another weekend with the rental. The contract # is C-006344.My purpose in filing this complaint is for help in receiving a refund. Thank you.
