    7/16 my daughter and I arrived at the Quality ************* Upon arrival I checked in and we took our belongings to the room, I calmed her down from her panic attack (maybe 5 min) and we removed our belongings and went to the front desk. I spoke to 2 very kind woman that were working the front desk, one named *****.One of the woman called a manager (in front of me).She informed me that I would not be charged, I would be refunded by Expedia (I did not book thru Expedia but since it was a 3rd party, I knew I just needed them to approve it. ***** said I would definitely get refunded and that a manager would be arriving at 6am the next morning and he would call me. I never recd a call. My daughter and I did not feel safe there. There were 2 homeless Looking men in the parking lot, only a few feet from our door. The hotel looks nothing like the online pictures. It is run down and some of the doors have what appear to be bullet dents in them.During Covid my daughter and I had a very bad experience at a hotel and just the looks of this hotel put her in panic mode. Note, the couple in front of me was told the same thing. ***** did offer us a different room but I was not going to do that to my daughter and again it was a safety concern. We left having no other hotel booked and not knowing the area.Since the manager did not call me back, I sent an email (for a paper trail) and he stated they do not offer refunds. I have the emails and a couple pictures.

    I checked in on Jun 6th as I had a interview for Jun 7th l. On Jun 6th the power went out so after my interview I had some other business in ********* so I checked out however the service was not good. Food was terrible and so the 3rd party that I went through called to get my refund and it was denied. The business stated that would not refund my money due to me leaving for ********* but the fact of the matter their power went out last night when I called to find out why it was being denied they rep stated they have no control over power outage and due to me having business in ********* and when I complained the food was also not good this morning they stated sorry you didn't have a good experience and hung up so when I tried to call back they ended up not answering so I am filling a complaint bc I should be able to get my money back. The power was out for some time and at least should have been accommodated for it. On top of you could not get office from room to call from request and I literally had to have my bf walk to get a iron which was not even in the room we were in 229 so I just would like a refund for Fri to Sun thank you.
