    I have researched plasma donations for a few days and every time I enter my location or zip code it brings me to the Kedplasma in ********** I'm 42.3 miles from. I called the center verified I was qualified before driving an hour. I get her and I am told that I live outside the 50 mile radius however I don't I showed them I wasn't out of the radius and was told there wasn't anything they could do. I wasted an entire day coming to the ********** Kedplasma. A friend and I came together and she lives less than 5 minutes from me she was able to donate and I wasn't. The staff did not attempt to resolve my issue I had to wait 3 hours for my friend to donate plus the two hour commute so that's 5 hours of my day that could have been used toward something else. Your website never states a mile radius nor did the center when I called to verify before I came you can go to **************************** enter my zip code and it refers you to the Hickory location you can also ****** closest plasma donation center near me and it also refers you to Kedplasma in **********. The website and the staff should mention the mile radius before telling the donor they are tell them their a good candidate to donate I've not wasted 5 hours when I expected to visit the center donate and have $125 compensation instead I had to travel 2 hours and wait 3 hours with no compensation and not one person willing to fix the issue or take in the fact the website or center doesn't say anything about mileage nor where they willing to help when I proved them I was inside the mile radius

    On Tuesday June 25th @ approximately 11,00am we entered the Kedplasma in **********. Upon arrival were approached by inappropriate dressed and mannered staff. After hours of test mental and physical including an arm check to locate the proper prep area. After being prepared and preped for the procedure I was given verbal instructions on what to to expect but was far from ready for what occurred. About 15 mins into the process I noticed my machine that I was attached to was flashing a fifteenth color than the other clients. I could tell by the way people.were looking that something wasn't right but the staff just Ignored it until I had had.noticed my arm swelling and finally had convinced them to help. AFTER SEEING WHAT WAS GOING ON THEY CALLED FOR THEIR LEAD PERSON AND SHE MADE HER WAY TO ME. AFTER EVALUATING THE SITUATION SHE TURNED AND SAID TO ME WELL YOU CANT HAVE YOUR BLOOD BACK. They pulled the syringe from my arm and tightly wrapped what felt like a tourniquet on my arm told me to leave it for 2 hours and that was it. They didn't see me to the door,explain what had happened to me or anything. As a first time donor I was entitled to receive somewhere between $100 -130.00 for my plasma not my blood. After being helped to the car by my girlfriend we then found out that I was only given $30 and tried to ask why but once again they were rude. I think this could've been a real bad situation and definitely worsre.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I was not given an explanation of what had went on and was the reason I came back in to ask. I had to sit in my vehicle ***** before I could re-enter. Had I known I wouldn't have had to ask. I feel as if something that could be so serious such as inflammation of the vein should be explain instead of crammed in a questioner on a kiosk that was mainly focused on questions referring to homosexuality and the Aids virus. There a very unprofessional business and there going to hurt someone or worse with their procedures. And dirty labcoats,ungroomed employees are far from meeting any kind of dress code.I have appointment scheduled with my doctor to make sure I am OK and don't have a blood clot. I've been uneasy every since this nonsense happen. Thanks
