      I ordered several different calibers of ammunition from them on 1/4/23. Received the ammo on 1/11/23. The boxes were all thrown in one large shipping box with no packaging and arrived split open with loose rounds all over and smashed boxes. I buy through their dealer site as a dealer to resell the ammo. I emailed on 1/11 was told they would check with shipping.. 1/17 emailed again with no response. Today 1/24 I emailed again and this is the email I got back “I thought I replied to you sorry. Shipping basically said they can’t guarantee that non full case lots don’t get beat up in transit. There isn’t anything they can do to prevent that from happening. I know it’s frustrating but really the best way to make sure it doesn’t happen is case quantities. My apologies.”
      How am I supposed to resell smashed open loose rounds of ammo? I have never had an issue with any other site buying single boxes of ammo.

      Limited? I agree. Limited in the manner that they take care of the customer.
      I had ordered a 500 round battle pack from Outdoor Limited and had paid in excess of $420. And, like many other shooters, stored the ammo until I needed it. In May or June of this year I took one box out to the range. I experinced a 14% failure rate in one box of ammo which I find unacceptable. I got in touch with Outdoor Limited who immediately redirected me to the manufacturer...which IS IN TURKEY!!! After going round with different people at O. L., I got in touch with the manufacturer. They responded to me saying they didn't have a distribution channel here in the US. When I went back to O. L., they told me they had done everything they could...which was nothing. Outdoor Limited left me holding the bag. Be careful when purchasing from this company. They will dodge. They will redirect. But they will not stand behind what they sell. Good luck... Be careful.

      I email the company and received no response. I called and left message and received no call back.
      Call and talked to a representative who said they would investigate my order and would call me back the same day, two days later still no return call.
      Called again and was told that a claim needed to be filed against the carrier (fedx). Once the carrier reimbursed Outdoor Limited that they would reimburse me and this could take over three weeks

      In January of this year, during the Ammo shortages, I saw that Outdoor Limited had ammo from Federal Premium in stock. I ordered 3 boxes of the Federal Premium 308 Winchester Trophy Copper 165 Grain. Early this summer, I tried to use the ammo to sight in my .308 Tikka. The bolt didn’t close! The ammo didn’t fit! I thought maybe it was a fluke, so I tried some from each box. None of them worked. I contacted Outdoor Limited on July 3rd. On July 5th, they responded by telling me to contact the manufacturer. I tried to contact Federal Premium and they have been dodging all contact. Neither company is helping me resolve this issue. When looking online, I found that there are many other customers at Outdoor Limited having the same issue with defective ammo and no help from Outdoor Limited. I do now believe they are a scam company.

      Sorry about that.  The manufacturer offers a 1 year warranty on the product.  Here is some info to help.  The manufacturer requires us to ask you to contact them directly.  We are not a warranty or repair shop.  Federal is setup to help you directly.

      Federal Cartridge Company warrants its ammunition to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty is extended only to the original consumer purchaser. During the warranty period, we will (at our sole option) repair, replace or refund the purchase price of any defective part or product covered by this warranty when it is returned by the original owner with proof of purchase and an assigned Return Goods Authorization number from the factory. The repair, replacement or refund will be without charge except for reasonable shipping, handling and insurance charges.
      If you have a warranty claim, contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-379-1732. Each warranty return must receive pre-authorization and a return goods authorization number.

       I am rejecting this response because:




      Outdoor Limited needs to stand by the products they sell instead of always passing off to manufacturers. As long as they continue to sell items that are known to be defective (as I saw on both ******** and ****** reviews to be true), then they are a scam company.
