  Had an appointment at 12 and showed up, it was not until about 4pm I finally got called back. During the questionnaire they asked if I was pregnant and I said no, they asked for proof. So I went and got a pregnancy test and it showed negative, the doctor then cancelled my appointment and said he wants a test from a real doctor. After months of waiting for an appointment. They rescheduled for June 2, this appointment was scheduled for 11am and it was not until 3:30 we finally got seen, being not happy with the service being provided by Asheboro Oral Surgery I left a negative ****** review voicing my concerns. While I was in the back they threatened that they will cancel my surgery and the Doctor will not see you if you do not remove that negative ****** review. Being that I NEED the surgery I edited my review, and that if I did not that they would cancel the appointment and I would have to be seen elsewhere. This is not acceptable. How can a business not perform a scheduled surgery under ******** because of a bad ****** review

  After reading all this review, I near cancelled my daughter's appointment. But thanks God - I didn't. Overall we had great experience ( as we can on oral surgery). My daughter with extremely high anxiety felt there comfortable and treated as a queen . ************ was little to busy and lady behind the desk looked overwhelmed, but she did what she needed to do and was polite . Back office experience was excellent!It started with ******* who took us back and explained procedures and after care instructions. We met 3 more staff members - before *********************************. Every one was very nice , knowledgeable , I felt that my daughter in good hands of this team. Our appointment was at 10 am we arrived 15 minutes earlier, did all paperwork there , I can't tell how long we was waiting before called back , but we was in a office total about 2.5 hours . (When we scheduled they told us we can be there 2-4 hours )I felt that - process very well organized and staff worked great together as a team. Thank you everyone who was involved in care of my daughter today . She is doing great, following aftercare instructions ( was explained to us and giving written copy) . I would give 5 star and recommend to anyone who needs dental care they provide. Thank you all !!!!

  This office should be under review and shut down for its findings. I would truly compare it to a puppy mill for oral surgery. In July of 2023 I had an appointment to have my wisdom teeth removed. When I arrived the waiting room was PACKED full of people. It made me extremely nervous and when I asked about it, the receptionist told me they were all getting oral surgeries by the same surgeon in the same day. When I went back to talk to the surgeon before surgery he rushed me. I had never had surgery before and he acted like he didn’t have time to answer my questions, and the nurse was rude when I expressed my concerns. I was given a quote when I booked my appointment, but 5 min before surgery they let me know it would be $2000 more than discussed. I didn’t feel safe and I walked out. I was followed outside by the nurse who I shared my concerns with and she agreed with me that the surgeon rushes patients and even rushed her! She also discriminated against all minorities in the waiting room by telling me the surgeon primarily work with “low income people” and “people that aren’t like her and me” I asked to talk to a manager and she was extremely rude. She wasn’t hearing my concerns and ultimately told me if I didn’t go through with surgery today that I would still have to pay for my appointment/consultation and when I told her I wasn’t paying she told me she’d send me to collections. To this day they’re has been no resolution. They claim they have no documentation of me calling their office numerous times and they don’t document their phone calls so they have no way to confirm I was given a quote during my appointment booking with them. When I offered to get my phone records she quickly changed her tone and said “we had a new front desk person, so regardless of what she said you still have to pay” If this isn’t enough to deter people from going here, read the dozens of other reviews. I am scared for anyone who expects to be treated like a human here. They will not be.

  I had surgery 3/17/23,and was sedated(put to sleep),when I woke up my money was stolen from my purse $60…I noticed as SOON as I got to the car. I calls the office a number of times, and their response is “there’s nothing that we can do”. So,Be Ware!!

  This office handles urgent dental problems, which is what I needed. I had an infected tooth that needed to be extracted. Other oral surgeons couldn’t get me in sooner than 2 or 3 months. So I came here out of desperation. Support staff and dental assistants were kind and compassionate, but Dr. S. was pretty pushy about wanting to do a bone graft and implant on this tooth site. I declined since I live at least an hour away. He pulled the tooth really quickly, but the multiple injections to numb me were chaotic and much of the bad tasting numbing agent sprayed in my mouth. It was honestly pretty scary the way he came at me with the syringes! I was very disappointed that he did not stitch the site, leaving me with lots of site care to deal with. He got the job done, but I would not recommend this office.
