    I ordered my furniture through Club Furniture. Peace Transport contacted me to schedule delivery for the following week. The agreement when I purchased my furniture was as follows: "The in-home service includes inside placement of your furniture up two flights of stairs (if necessary). Additional flights of stairs are billed at $25.00 per flight." The representative I spoke to informed me that it would be $25 per flight of stairs per driver (2). I have two flights of stairs they will need to go up, so this amounts to $100. So, I questioned why I was being charged $100 for 2 flights of stairs if 2 flights of stairs are supposed to be included in the delivery service. The representatives Lisa and Sandy were extremely unhelpful and rude when I questioned this charge/policy. They told me I would need to have $100 cash on hand and that was their policy, no negotiation. They told me if I had any other questions or concerns I would need to contact Club Furniture since they were the company who provided the wording on the invoice. I have contacted Club Furniture and am waiting to hear back from their manager about next steps.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. My couch has been delivered. Several phone calls between the furniture company and the delivery company were made prior to the delivery to resolve the issue. We were under the understanding that things would go smoothly at delivery and that there would be no fee, however the drivers received instruction from the delivery office to charge a fee anyway. After the couch had already been set up, the delivery driver called the office to clarify the fee. The office said that if we weren’t willing to pay the fee, that the driver should load the couch back onto the truck and bring it back. (Keep in mind that we had already paid the furniture company in full for this couch). The driver understood how ridiculous this was and saw the email correspondence we had from the furniture company and decided to leave. This is poor business and customer service. We will never trust Peace Transport for delivery in the future and hope that Club Furniture chooses a different delivery provider going forward.

    Inan-GA  BOL attached  Customer was told when ********************** called to set up delivery that the first 2 flights are included in her delivery anything after that is $25.00 extra a flight per driver. So when the driver got there it was 2 more flights than what we do.  So the customer should have paid $100.00 to the drivers for the extra work.  The drivers done the work but the extra for the drivers was not paid.

    Peace Transport was contracted by Elite Interiors to transport our new furniture from Thomasville NC to our home in *********** MN. Peace delivered our new furniture the evening of 10/7/22 and in the course of that delivery not only damaged our new furniture but also our home. I have repeatedly tried to engage Peace to resolve the issues both via phone and email correspondence without response other than the one time their agent Lisa ***** happened to pick up the phone on 10/11/22. Please see the attached email thread, the damage to our property is undisputed, however the company has gone completely silent/unresponsive.

    ********-**  BOL Attached  Customer did not note any damages on the bill of lading.  At the bottom of our paperwork and we also tell the customers you must inspect at the time of delivery  Your signature releases carrier from any further liability, except as noted.  We answered the emails and calls several times and explained to him we would not honor damages because it was not noted at time of delivery.  That's why he repeatedly kept calling and we kept telling him the same answer.
