      I purchased a new home in 2017. The builder used mannington floors. My floor is now peeling. There are about 8 panels that are defective and warped and the top coat has peeled off. The floor is under warranty. I contacted mannington and they reached out to the builder and to the retailer to replace the panels that are an issue. The person Jodi who was in charge of my complaint in no longer in claims. I have reached out several times to find out what is going on with the floor and asked for my new claim rep or a supervisor to call me back. No one has reached out to me and when I sent a email they told me again to give it 7-14 days. It has already been that long since my last request for information on this floor. They claim to have called the retailer but the retailer has not gotten back to them. It’s been going on now for a few months and I want this replaced before the holidays

      Ms. ******* ****, thank you for calling me back I received your email.  I wanted to first give some explanation about the claim.  This was reviewed and though we felt it is not a material defect with the product, the consumer has 8 planks with an issue we decided to offer a good well gesture of 2 cartons and $500.00 for labor repair. There was emails and telephone voice message to the trailer we needed to obtain some information before proceeding.  We then have had some overturn within the department around this time and Jodie M***** is no longer with the claims department. This delayed getting this resolved.

      I have reached out yesterday and spoke with the retailer and the consumer Ms. Franzo.

      Everyone is all set.

      I have sent the authorization letter to the retailer and copied the consumer to keep her in the loop

      I have also attached a copy of that letter for your records as well.

       

      If there is anything else, you need from me please contact me.  I am the one who handles the Better Business Bureau claims.
