1 starWe traded in the truck we bought from this dealership to another dealership and upon doing so we cancelled the extended warranty that we purchased. We were told on 2/10/25 that it would take 6-8 weeks to get the refund of the unused portion of the warranty. After 8 weeks of waiting we contacted the dealership and spoke to the sales manager who then informed us it would take 8-12 weeks to the get the refund. Its now been 17 weeks and still no refund. When we call the dealership to get answers we never talk to a live person, we always get forwarded to voice and NO EVERY returns our calls. DO NOT BUY from this dealership.Review fromTJ M

If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. My son bought a used truck from them back in May and it's been nothing but trouble. The day we drove it off the lot the check engine light came on so we took it back. Come to find out they didn't do the repair in house instead they sent it to a third party to have the issue fixed. We bought an extended warranty through them and its complete garbage. We've had to spend roughly $4000 dollars just to keep the truck running for the past several months. They keep saying that they had it checked out prior to selling it but it was sitting in the back lot as if it was just traded in. I will never do business with this dealership again and I would recommend every to keep driving by this dealership before giving them any of your hard earned money!!!!!Huntersville Ford

This customer purchased a 2015 **** F150 with ******* miles on it on 5/16/24. We offered at the time of purchase a Triton Protect powertrain warranty covering specifically the powertrain which the customer accepted and thoroughly went over what was being covered and what was not. Due to the mileage on the vehicle at point of sale this was the only option we had to offer any type of protection. This customer stopped in shortly after with a check engine light on 5/20/24 where we diagnosed and fixed the issue that caused it at no charge. On 6/14/24 they came back to address a catalytic converter issue which is not covered under the powertrain warranty. I spoke with the customer for the first time in months on 12/17/24 at 3:46PM where I offered a resolution where we would happily cancel and refund the prorated amount of the warranty. Customer stated they wanted a full refund which I said I would explore our options and see what I could do for them and explained to them that the money they have put into the vehicle are wear and tear items such as coil packs, seals and gaskets etc. Our top priority is customer service and upon offering to help remedy the situation the customer became irate and started using profanity. I am still happy to find a resolution to this however, we cannot be held liable for wear and tear items on a high mileage truck which passed safety and emissions inspections at point of sale.Review fromTodd W

If I could give a zero I would. They sold my son a preowned truck that has been nothing but a lemon. Everything has gone wrong with it and at times put my sons safety at risk given specific mechanical issues. They refuse to fix them. We have reached out to the sales person, the pre owned manager and the ** (*****) multiple times to no avail. Next step BBB Do NOT buy a car from them!Huntersville Ford

I am a liitle confused on the review being a one star. We sold the truck in Augutst of 2022. The truck was sold with 79k miles as a certified **** Blue Advantage Vehicle. At the time of purchase two years ago, the customer had the option to extend that Certified Warranty and do a certifed warranty wrap but denied adding any additional coverage. The vehicle has since been driven approx ****** miles and it has been over two years. The service history that I show from us is 4 oil changes in 2023. It looks like there was a minor accident the truck had in November of 2023. I also see where we replaced a shock in December of 2023 which was one year and 4 months after the purchase and verified the noise from the shock was no longer present and replaced the brake fluid. However I do not see any major repairs done here or any on the carfax so that is why I am confused. I did receive an email two agos at 3:39 pm. I asked my managers to please help the customer of which they are in the process. I apologize you have not heard from me personally but I am currently dealing with a family member sick, roof damage from the hurricane, three insuracne companies over other items and much more after this Hurricane hit. By no means am I making any excuses but have asked my managers to help with the situation. Please understand that you purchased a used truck for your son two years ago, denied any extended covereage, have driven the truck two years and over 40k miles and are no leaving me a one star review calling me out personally and trying to hurt the 90 employees that come into work here every day busting their tails by saying do not buy a car from them. I will be happy to reach out to you Monday if you still would like that. Have a blessed weekend.Huntersville Ford

1 starWell, I do not know where to begin. I was charged over $425 including a 3.5% up charge for using a credit card. Who does that? Nobody but you. The charges were for diagnostics for two issues which I declined to have you fix because of the outrageous costs for one. The other, you the experts, didn't find. After driving the car I found the problem still exists (temp gauge elevated). The entire time your people spent on my issues could not have been more than 1 hour (running my car to check the temp and removing two screws and looking behind the interior panel to find a broken cable (you wanted over $780 for a $15 part). I expect to pay some more to you because of your overhead opposed to the local garage. But wow! I looked and reviews about you later (BBB and Yelp) and you should be ashamed. You did manage a few good reviews but the overwhelming reviews were ONE STAR! I do not know why I waste my time responding here because I truly believe you pay NO attention to this feedback. Particularly since you obviously can tell I will not be back. I was ripped off the last time I took my car to a **** dealership before you. So there you go. By the way this ********************************************************* my 77 years (******* miles).Review fromEG B

I would like to share my experience with the financial department at Huntersville, **** in Huntersville, ***I purchased a Bronco Raptor in December of 2023, but it was bought back from **** under the ** Lemon Law. In March 2024 I cancelled the warranty I had purchased and as of August 13, 2024, I am still waiting on the check to be issued to me by the finance department with Huntersville Ford. If there was a 0-rating option, they sure would get one from me because of this experience.Huntersville Ford

The customer has received her check. There was a delay from the warranty company, and our *** outage that was all over the news. These warranty refunds come to the dealer from the warranty company. Once we receive the funds, we release the funds to the customer. This took longer than anticipated due to the *** outage. She has been paid as she should have been. We did apologize for the inconvenience and prioritized the issue for the customer.Review fromJohn A

1 starThis location hardly ever answers the phone or return messages. *********************************** /service Advisor FAILED to give me an update that my car would not be ready on Monday as promised. He is a very rude, lazy, unprofessional human being. I am filing a complaint on behalf of this Company for a warranty letter i received from **** regarding my car with the vin. It's a way to scam **** owners out of money by telling them there was a issue with their car and it needs to be looked into only to find out that you have to pay out of pocket for ******** NO MATTER WHAT. Why? Then and only then if there is an issue, your warranty covers i diag, you have to pay **** a seperate diag fee. Which I didn't find out until LATER...If you choose to opt of the advised NEEDED service you now are reponsible for 2 diag fees because the warranty only covers if you actually have the service done. I have been without a car for a WEEK. I was told it was a day's worth of work. ************************************* refuses to issue me a car during this time saying none are available. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and unrealistic. If I cannot make it to work how can I pay your outrageous bill? PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THESE LETTERS THEY SEND OUT ARE A WAY OF TRAPPING YOU INTO GETTING SERVICE that you may NOT NEED. They tell you whatever they want to tell you, never show you the actual test results of the car diag. How do you really know? YOU DON'T! Whether you get it done or not YOU WILL PAY! I would like to thank the shuttle driver (sorry didn't get your name) for his kindness and patience. ***** never informed me I could get a ride home even after i clearly told him I was calling a lyft. I was actually waiting on the lyft and the shuttle Guy asked people in the waiting room. He then proceeded to tell ***** he was taking me along with others. I couldn't believe he didnt offer me this option! I am very disappointed in the overall service and lack of upfront information. Unable to make it to work due to them!Review fromMark M

Disappointed in this dealership - again. There is a complete lack of integrity, honesty, and accountability. Finance Manager completely misrepresented the extended service plan when we purchased a new Explorer. Any other dealership is worth the drive to avoid doing business here. Next step for me is legal action. Attorney is already drawing up the paperwork.Huntersville Ford

****************, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. After conferring with the individuals that you spoke with in the service department that handled this issue, we were informed that it appears that the exhaust system is indeed damaged, however, the visible damage appears to have occurred with some sort of impact to the exhaust pipe beneath the vehicle. Unfortunately, any road hazard occurence is not something that would be covered by **** or an aftermarket warranty company. I understand your frustration with this matter, and we would be glad to assist you in any way that we can.Review fromDEIVISON V

They sold a truck worth ****** dollars to a company that works for my company (which in the end turned out to be a scammer) without my knowledge, without my authorization and without my signature, when I tried to return it they told me that I would have to pay ********* to the bank after I returned it . I tried to solve it in every way, just don't be imposed on by the s*** they did .Huntersville Ford

I see the comment now. We sold a truck to the company ******* wood flooring. It was sold, registered, and titled at the same address as the business address. This is also the same address that the complainant is still using. Not only was the person involved in purchasing the company vehicle a registered agent but also a corporate officer of the company. Complainant had a falling out with a partner and now trying to blame something on us. He brings in a Secretary of State to try and prove that and we still had the one we had when we sold the vehicle in the file. I am uploading the proof so you can see the changes that were made. You can also search for yourself as it is public record on ********************* website and view where the changes were made. All paperwork, tags, titles, etc. all went to the address that ******************* still has on the secretary of state. The truck was sold for ****** and not ******. When ******** came back in 9 months later in that truck to see if we wanted to purchase it back, we appraised it and it and it had double the miles and some damage. So of course it was worth less money. NO we did nothing wrong. We followed all rules. I do hate that you and your partner had a falling out, but please do not blame a company that did nothing wrong.Review fromSteve W

1 starThis is THE place to go to get a run around and be ripped off. When you schedule a visit to repair your door handle and are told on the phone it will take 1.5 hours, then you shouldn't tell the customer when they arrive they have to leave their car and it could take all day and you might have to order the part and it could **** few days. Worse, when you then tell me it's $160 to diagnose it.....WHAT? The handle broke off inside, there's nothing to diagnose. Then I was told to diagnose it they had to take the panel off, only later to be told, they DID NOT take the panel off, all you had to do was look at the handle, it's broken. Then I was told it was $600+ to fix it. Yet it takes only about an hour to fix. How much would I like to pay I was asked, $300. All of a sudden, they made a mistake in the computer, it's $360 to fix. Cutting my losses, I let them fix it. This is the WORST possible place for service. They tell you one thing on the phone and another when you are there. They try to charge $160 to diagnose a broken piece of plastic. They quote a ridiculous charge, then let you negotiate. Even their manager didn't know what he was doing. I was told this is how the tech's get paid around here--you mean to s**** the customer. This is the worst service department and you've lost a 20+ year customer who has leased or purchased several vehicles. Never again. You should publicly answer what I'm saying here and how you 1. lie on the phone 2. charge/try to charge $160 to diagnose a broken door handle that you told me took a minute to diagnose--the guy looked at it 3. quote a $600+ charge to fix something that takes an hour to fix--you couldn't even give me a breakdown of the repair charge 4. negotiate a lower charge from the rip off you first quoted Disgusting really and I hope other people read this and stay away.
