My dog boarded with ******** from 11/17-11/19. When I picked him up, his muzzle was saturated in drool and he was very anxious. I called ********, no answer, so I emailed requesting any information they could provide that would be helpful to his vet. ******** called back, was immediately defensive, said it was probably just allergies. They refused to acknowledge or accept any responsibility for ****** suffering, and provided no information that I could pass on to the vet. I became extremely frustrated with the lack of compassion and responsibility, stated that the situation was ridiculous, and requested a refund. The woman refused to provide a refund and hung up on me. I then called the emergency vet who advised it would be a 6 hour wait that Sunday, so they advised I try another vet or give ************** and monitor him until the next day. ******** did nothing to ease his pain and he was unable to eat. The next day I went to the vet where they determined the cause being chemical ***** inside and outside his mouth. They asked me to find out what cleaning chemicals big reds uses. I had not called or emailed big reds since the day before when the woman hung up. When I called it rang once then went dead. I also emailed them requesting the info and that email was ignored. I assumed they blocked my phone/email and that suspicion was confirmed by the response from them on my ****** review. They claimed I harassed them (I hadnt called/emailed since the initial call that was unanswered and then when Big reds returned my phone call. There was no harassment. To publicly say there was is slander.) They also said I was threatening. I made no threats. I requested information, stated the situation was f***ing ridiculous, then requested a refund. No threat was made. Their negligence resulted in severe pain and nausea in my dog, as well as inability to eat for several days. His vet bill cost $1,008.06. ******** has yet to accept any responsibility or offer any apology.
