1 star********* company that keeps knocking on my door offering to file a fraudulent claim to my insurance for storm damage that i don't have. They have been asked repeatedly to not come on my property and we are a no solicitation community

Hi *********** we are sorry that you were bothered by our canvassers. ********** is the way that many small businesses and employees make a living. We would never file a fraudulent claim and we don't pressure. We simply offer free inspections. We understand that you are not interested and as soon as a homeowner informs us they do not want to be visited, we never visit again. 1 starHad a hail storm in *************************************** they came evaluate the damage they were here when the adjuster came, convince to sign this form saying they will be here when the adjuster and all the insurance proceeding go through. And saying if we decide not to used them it is no charge to us ask for a second inspection when I got the date calling ****'s number with no answer and no call back so I got a different company after about a week and a half not hearing from storm guard now storm guard is threatening me and my sister saying we are breaking a contract when he told if we decide not to used them it is no charge to usStorm Guard of Charlotte

Dear ***************************, thank you for sharing your feedback. Were sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience. In this industry it is standard to use a contingency contract because we do a lot of work up front and incur costs with no charge to you. The contract states that we will do the work to help you get your roof replacement approved, and if it is approved you agree to use our company to complete the work. If the roof does not get approved, there is no obligation on either end, and no charge to you whatsoever. It sounds like maybe the contract was not clearly explained and we have used this as a training opportunity with our team to ensure it doesnt happen again.It appears that there may have been some additional miscommunication, as we had also tried to get in touch with you, and we apologize for any missed calls on our end. We did determine that it was in both parties' best interest to cancel the contingency contract and attempted several times to communicate this to you so that you could feel free to move on. We regret that you felt threatened in any way and wish you the best with your project.Review fromJason V

5 starsStorm Guard ********************** replaced my roof in November 2022. The customer service provided by Bough and *** made it easy when placing the claim with the insurance company. Then the constant communication until completion of project was awesome. The day of completing project all went smooth. All of my plants and grass were taken care and no nails left behind.
