    The initial purchase 10/02/2021 the issue is with their warranty. I went in approximately 1 week and half ago from today and brought the battery I had purchased which I was assured would have a 5 year warranty from the date of purchase should anything go wrong with the battery I would be able to bring back to any store and they would get another one. I spent extra money on a deep cycle ago battery that costed around $300 before my military discount. I had decided to go with this particular battery since I have multiple 7-9 vehicles and dont drive all of them often. Deep cycle batteries are for extreme use and can can be depleted and are supposed to charge back. Well the battery will not charge and had dropped in voltage which in turn affects 5he cranking amperage of the battery since it had dropped to five volts the store is refusing to warranty the battery. This is very deceptive to the consumer as the store employee had said should there be any problems the battery would be covered I have talkies both to the store and their customer service phone number asked to speak to a supervisor to be told there was none and then finally put through to a voice mail. I have uploaded directly from their website the battery in question I did notice they have changed the warranty from 5 years down to 4 years but mine does have a 5 year on it other than that change everything else is the same. Please help me get this issue resolved. Thanks *****

    As the customer has stated the battery was brought to ** at 5 Volts which is considered abuse or neglect in the battery industry and is not covered under any warranty. I fully discharged battery is at **** Volts and should be fully charged directly back up at that point. When a battery is discharged and let to sit for prolonged periods of time the battery discharges to this low voltage and is irreversible to charge back to a full charge. The attached policy states this but is also a industry standard not just from Batteries Plus.  Furthermore a battery used in multiple applications as stated in the customers statement is also a reason for void of the batteries warranty. We did try to recoup the battery by attempting to charge but the battery was too far gone and most likely had been sitting for a long period of time at a severely discharged rate. For future reference a good battery charger/ maintainer is recommended to prevent such discharge when not in use. Lead Acid type batteries like to stay up fully charged to maintain their peak performance.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    The battery in question is in a vehicle that I do not utilize everyday I have multiple vehicles to choose to drive from. Secondly the alternator has been tested and is properly working there are no draws on the vehicles system no auxiliary sound systems or anything else. The battery was properly installed upright unlike what is listed on the website. Furthermore under batteries plus statement a battery would never have to be replaced if the cranking amps were to be off the voltage is also off. It is impossible for the two not to be related. I have spoken to multiple car parts stores and they (Advance Auto and Auto Zone stores as well as different mechanics) and they have assured me that they would have warrantied and replaced the battery. This store In particular did not want to originally sell the battery canceled multiple orders and I had to go down to the Batteries Plus store in ********** ** I purchased several batteries from them and upon the time of purchase the gentleman whom I picked up my batteries from assured me if there was ever a problem with them to come back and they would take care of them. It has been a displeasure and a pain every time I have tried doing business with the ************ store which Is obviously where this dispute is coming from. Obviously as anyone can see this battery is touted as being able to withstand extreme conditions which none of my batteries are placed under I just want the best battery a person may purchase its like purchasing a ******* brand power tool vs a Dewalt tool for example. That not saying the tool is being used improperly as this store has said I had. I am using this as an example and as what this particular battery listed touts as what it may be used for. So no the battery was not used improperly and should be warrantied out.
