On 20 July 2022, I filled a service request with my home warranty 2-10 home buyers warranty. 2-10 home warranty awarded and dispatched RDB Electric to access and complete some Electric work on my tenant occupied single family home in ************* NC.

The work was completed, but his business practices came into question after he billed me. Scam is what I consider RBD Electric's behavior.

RBD Electric billed be for $107. And the remaining amount (unknown to me) was billed to my home warranty.

I paid $100 to RDB Electric per the term of my home warranty who hired and dispatched the contractor to my property.

I informed RDB Electric I was only responsible for the service fee ($100) per my warranty regardless of how the total cost (labor, parts, fees,taxes..). I also instructed him to bill my home warranty for the remaining $7 of the invoice if he wanted to get paid for his work.

RDB is insisting on collecting the remaining balance from me, and has even threatened to report me to the state for unpaid invoice.

This is a scam like behavior, and this contractor refuses to correct their behavior even after he has been caught.

I paid the $100 I owed RDB Electric as the service fee per my warranty terms. My invoice is paid.

Your assistance will be appreciated with matter, thanks in advance.
