      Humphreys have the worst customer service. They installed a new carrier system 3 years ago. May 2024 we arrived at our beach house and the a/c was not working. We called them and it was capacitor and the bill was $350. Then one month later we had renters and the a/c was not working again. Humphreys sent out a Techincian and I got a call that he could not get to the unit since there was stuff in front of it. It is in the owners closet and towels and sheets are in bins. It takes two second to move the bins out of the way. I live out of town so I had to call the management company to have them move the bins. He said he couldnt make a diagnoses since he couldnt get to it. Even though he couldnt make a diagnoses I still got an invoice for the service call for $137. Two days later I get an invoice sent to me for $497 but it says warranty for the blower. I had to call them and ask what does this invoice mean since it only says warranty. She said it is for gas to get there, Installation, freight to ship the new blower, freight to ship the old blower back and to process the warranty. I asked what is the cost per hour for labor. She said we dont have a set rate and it depends on the task. I will never use them again. NEVER USE THEM. I had to spend over $600 for something that is under warranty.

      Were done with Humphreys they dont care about quality or service and are more concerned in covering their butts than helping their customers. They spent more time deflecting and protecting themselves than fixing their own mistakes. We found that the drainage pipe for an air handler unit Humphreys HVAC installed was draining under our house. The city confirmed that drainage has to go outside and away from the house especially when a moisture barrier is in place under the house. Even though the unit was a in space replacement unit, ************ City advised that the company is/was required to install in accordance with codethey did not.We figured wed give them an opportunity to remedy their error Humphreys installed the unit and is responsible to make sure the drain goes out and away from the house. They wouldnt even come out unless we scheduled a service call for $138. Their technician confirmed the problem and was ready to re-route it away from the house but someone at the office stopped him until the original installer, ****, could review and provide an estimate. The next day, we got an estimate for $800 to install a condensing pump and absolutely no willingness to fix any part of their oversight. We then spoke to *******. First she said they didnt install the unit (our receipts proved otherwise), then she said we specifically requested a condensing pump be installed (we did not) instead of a standard gravity flow drainage line, then she said shed consult with **** and call us back the next day. When we AGAIN didnt get a call back, we called ******* and she now said the drainage was probably dislodged by another vendor (it was not). ******* was particularly patronizing and condescending when speaking with us and told us that she had checked permits/records for our house meant that another vendor was the cause. Then, AGAIN, shed have someone call us backwhich never happened.
