You will see this breeder has a reputation for a shady business if you type the business name. My cat was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect and passed away 4/28/23 (less than two years after we got her from ****). I reached out to **** to let her know and she apologized for my loss. That was it. No solution was offered. I left a negative review on her business page and she started hounding me with questions like she cared. I felt bad and thought we could work it out. BUT NO. She wants me to trust her diagnosis of a "viral" over my vet's diagnosis of a congenital heart defect. I am not sure why the doctors would lie about her heart. I even have x-ray pictures to show the cat's enlarged heart. We are so sad to have lost her.

    Business Response

I received an email from ************************* stating that her cat had passed from a congenital heart defect, I was saddened by this news and gave my condolences. Within minutes she had already placed a negative review, I did not even have a chance to email back, to inquire on what had taken place with Cocoa. She states I am hounding her, all I have done is ask for medical reports and any proof that with was a "congenital" defect as my cats are HCM DNA tested and there are many reasons for an enlarged heart including viruses. In 9 days I have received nothing, not 1 medical report of any kind, including no explanation of the enlarged heart. I'm not stating blame or denying it, as a breeder of 18 years,  I want and need to know facts to know how to go about breeding the best kittens possible. Had I been notified when she took Cocoa to the vet and she was put down, I would have asked and paid for an necroscopy to show true cause. ***** states I do not  guarantee my cats, I do for 1 year and I ask for a necroscopy to show cause of death. She said she would not do a necroscopy even thou she sign a contract

I am rejecting this response because I trust what my vet says. She had her chance to make this right. I am not wanting anything further except to warn future customers of this business.
