On 9-20-2024 I attended an event at the ************* located at **********************************************************. Pure Sky Esthetics was there doing tattoos for $50.00 each. My wife and I got matching cherry heart tattoos. We tipped the worker $25.00 to support a local business. A few days later they started to wash off. We were told we were purchasing permanent tattoos. My wife and I have full sleeve tattoos and very educated on how tattoos work. These should not have washed off. I submitted my concerns to the company via email and ********. The company never responded. I could see where they read the messages I sent on ******** and still did not respond. I am requesting a full refund of the $125.00. We live hours away so repairing the tattoo is not an option.

Both clients received permanent fine line tattoos on their hands at my pop up event in September, an exception I made which I normally do not allow at pop up events, because this is a delicate area to tattoo & fine line tattoos have no margin for error. This is permanent tattooing with permanent ink, but I use a very thin needle, which can easily cause a blow out, especially on thinner skin (especially on the hands), which you absolutely dont want and cannot be corrected. I do not offer refunds for any reason, I do offer quality guarantee & am happy to offer a $125($62.50 each) credit that is valid for the next ********************************************** I am happy to completely redo the tattoos for both clients at no charge. I am even happy to offer that credit to them if I am ever in their area for an event but it is completely out of my control that they live too far for me to fix them. For proper healing, proper aftercare must be followed and I have no way to guarantee that anyone is follow proper aftercare once they leave our session. When at the pop up, both clients agreed to my policies & signed agreeing that no refunds would be offered for any reason. I will attach copies of these agreements, as well as their tattoos the day of my pop up event.
In regards to missed ******** messages, I had personal family business that took priority, as well as being a full time service provider, business owner, & mom. I do not answer messages on my business ********, which is why I provide my tattoo email ************************** & phone number ************* to all tattoo clients.

I am rejecting this response because: the tattoos were almost gone in only three days after they were done. As I made them aware and as you can see in the pictures I provided we both have many tattoos and know how to care for them. Further we both told her we could not feel the needle and she needed to apply more pressure. Having had my entire arm tattooed I know what a tattoo should feel like. We never felt the needle.  I followed up with several tattoo artists who agreed the technique failed not the location of the tattoo.

My offer for the $125 credit towards any service, or a complete redo of the tattoo for each client, stands & is valid for the next 364 days. I was very transparent about being a beginner artist, why I dont offer hand tattoos for pop up events, but made an exception for them. I absolutely was not told to go deeper during the process, & if a client ever told me to go deeper, I would not go deeper because they told me to. I use my best judgement as a professional, but beginner, artist to bring my clients visions to life to the best of my ability. Tattooing is permanent, I do not take it lightly & will always much rather have to touch something up or re-do the tattoo completely than permanently cause a blow out, that can not be corrected. I was told that I have a light hand, that was all that was said. Above all, you both agreed to no refunds, no exceptions. You say you live too far to come get them touched up/fixed, I have no way to control where any of my clients travel from. I have offered several credit options as a courtesy. Fine Line tattoos are not the same as traditional tattoos & have a completely different application & healing process. Fine Line tattoos often need to be touched up, especially on the hands. Your skin also gets much more delicate as we age & there is a 1mm margin for error between something that could disappear or be blown out, which cannot be corrected. I have even offered to honor the $125 total credit for you guys if I am in your area for an event. I was completely upfront & honest about the application process, as well as my experience.
