      When I contracted with Mosquito Joe in 2023, I prepaid for a set number of visits. I was very clear that there should be no additional visits beyond the pre-payment. The previous year, they had continued to visit my house after the pre-agreed visits. This year, they renewed my subscription without my permission. They claim to have sent emails saying I would be automatically renewed unless I let them know (I did not see these emails which probably went to a promotions folder). Since I was very clear in 2023 that I would ONLY pay for pre-authorized visits, I should not be charged for the visit they made without my permission.Automatic renewal was not authorized by me.

      I had Mosquito Joe come and spray our yard once in 2022. On 20Apr2023, they came unrequested and sprayed our yard again. When I called to inquire why they performed a treatment that I hadn’t requested, I was informed that they notified me by email and text several times and I hadn’t responded that I didn’t want their service. I didn’t read the emails they sent because I thought the emails were for promotion. I thought the text they sent to me was spam. I didn’t open the letter they sent because I thought it was for promotion. I don’t consider myself a repeat/regular costumer as I only used their service one time. I told them not to bill me. Within minutes of termination of the call I received a bill. I should’ve have to cancel a service I never requested and they should not treat me as a recurring customer as I only used their service one time and that was over a year ago.

      The non-response of several emails, mailed letter, and a text and email reminder the day before is where the communication fell between the cracks.  Most of our previous year's customers that have not responded will continue with service like a lawn service.  But we do realize that a very small amount of customers do not look at the 5 communications from us in the last 6 weeks.  Because of that we have credited her the invoice and resolved the matter.
